Why an assessment of candidate's skills and experience isn't enough?

Why an assessment of candidate's skills and experience isn't enough?

We're seeking to learn as much as we can about the candidate. And we have a good reason for that. Mismatches can be quite costly in terms of absenteeism, low productivity, and turnover. Our major goal is to improve the chance of making a good fit between candidates and the company.

What statistics do you use?

For example, according to CareerBuilder, 57% of employers admit that they might not interview a candidate if they can’t find them online.

Will employees have to take any employment tests?

Mostly in cases when they lack some certificates or other documents confirming their skills and competencies.

What differentiates this from LinkedIn?

We are not a copy of Linkedin. We are making a product that will make it possible for every sales professional to prove their skills on a global scale. Our product is an independent rating of such linear staff jobs as sales consultants, sales managers, marketing specialists, etc. We do have a better solution than Linkedin can have because we are really specific about our target customers.

On the contrary, we are doing a profound research now in order to have our customers' requirements and expectations as a starting point.

Thank you for a good question! We will study it in the nearest future. In any case, evaluation of qualifications, in terms of proving various competencies of each job candidate will be necessary after retraining also.

Yes, it’s very crucial. And it takes quite an effort to get proof of competency, to understand that the particular candidate is really needed and has enough qualification for the particular job vacancy. It is one of the main pain points that every HR or business owner has.

And it's one of the best ways to improve personal growth within the organization. Just to start with the necessity to prove the competencies required.
