I used to write a daily fundamental report on 5 currencies USD,EUR,JPY,GBP and AUD. I plan to restart this and add a bitcoin section plus another section for all crtyptos. So basically it will be a daily report of 7 sections of around 200 words each, it will go over the news of the previous day and offer a preview of the news for the next day. In addition to 5 daily reports I plan to also do a weekly summary and weekly preview that will cover the news for the previous / upcoming week.
I assume this would be ok since devtome already allows poetry and fiction but I thought I would make sure because it's not really ''wiki'' type content.
Admins / reviewers, let me know what you think.
technical analysis/ fundamental? You show your charts? Would be cool to read updated tech levels/ fundamental updates and volume analysis on cryptos... because we can also apply supply demand principles to determine price of cryptos based on volume.. unlike free floating fiat.

I have an idea about how to increase the value of dvc. I suggest to create a content shop accepting dvc only. There anyone can list the articles for sale. This should increase the value of dvc. I can do such platform but I need a support in about 70-80 shares. I tried to contact the main admin but he's not responding So what do you guys think?

Sounds predictable. Probably those selling off in preparation of buying back at a lower price once the dump happens. All my recent selling took place when things were hovering at 0.00000067 so as to have buy back power at around 0.00000040. Others are probably doing the same thing.
If the payouts happened gradually over the period, instead of all at once, it may take a bit of the drastic rise and fall out of things and make things less predictable for day traders.
- Nova
Payouts are constant on generation (50k x 90% per block) and run randonly through receiver lists, so although price patterns are there much of it looks to be self-perpetuated herding.

There are some business bounties http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_bounty_now . If it will increase the value of dvc and is a viable business why do you need 70-80 shares fronted?

Could be ill trace over the changed on monday.
Initial code worked? But it has other issues I think.
Are you using old daemon for the pool now?
Atm just been trying to get code compiled with the new daemon, and the p2pool has been trying to connect to whichever compiled (haven't had much success compiling unfortunately). I might load the one that worked for now until you've had a chance to look at it.

Those of you using the pool should see the first devcoin payments out...they're not much atm, but they should grow once we get more shares/haspower/blocks etc. I think I might just put a minimum dvc pool of 1000 payout a day or something from tomorrow, because it's a bit sad sending someone 0.05 dvc and paying 1 dvc fee...
Please put a minimum pool payout, because making lots of small payouts would bloat the blockchain. Ah I actually meant a pool payout as in the pool will pay out a minimum of 1000 dvc a day split by hash power, but having a minimum actual payout per miner might be good too...will just keep a balance and accumulate until it hits it. I guess about 100 dvc min send out should be ok? EDIT: Ok I've decided on a minimum daily payout (whether or not any blocks or shares are mined), of 10,000 dvc, split by hashing power over the day. This may go up or down depending on my reserves, but it's a good start. Happy mining!

Hi guys, just wondering if someone can assist me with my wallet setup. I had to do a system restore on my computer, and before doing this i backed up my wallet and all associated files to a usb stick. After doing the restore, i reloaded all the files and wallet etc however my devcoin balance is not showing on my wallet, and there are new addresses generated. My wallet.dat file is is users/appdata/roaming. Thanks in advance.

Yea we cam see if it works if not switch back to old devcoin code before trying again.

My penny auction shop is similar idea but it would use shares and report all profits back to devcoin.. I think if we market it right we can create successful businesses leveraging the share system that compete for shares makingthem more precious at the same time bringing in profit buying back asks at market to increase value... Its better to accept btc ltc aswell so we can use thise to purchase dvc with the ones the shop brings in. devcoin is a goldmine in my eyes if we play this right it will open the doors to a new wave of investing and speculating.

Oops I meant the commits between the "modifying makefile to make it like mingw" and the latest build have a lot of compile issues I don't have the expertise to solve. The most recent is fine, and the 0.8.5 bitcoin update is fine (and this one works on the pool). I'm currently running the master version, but I think I'll use the 0.8.5 initial commit for now just to keep seeding/keep the pool working normally...I've spent way more time than I had figuring out if it was something on my end, and have to do something else for a bit!

Hello! I made a business plan involving Devcoins, if this work as expected, it will increase the value of Devcoins because the demand will rise, and the offer of other cryptos will grow, and only using one browser game. I want to postulate the project as a "Mining Business" The plan is here: http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=thardferr_business_planThe project itself would take a lot of time, so I propose to give some shares for develop it further (Maybe counting the developer in the Open Source Share list) and some others for keep the project running.

Is there a way to see all ratings, by user? It seems tedious to go through every rating page.
Done. User Ratings (and more importantly comments!) now easy. http://dvccountdown.blisteringdevelopers.com/devtomeI'm storing the data on a local db, so I'll set it to rescrape once a day in case people change stuff.
