I thought shelved shares didn't really exist? I also thought shelved shares were only paid out if you were still mining? I've only seen shelved shares being paid while I was actively mining on Eligius, and when luck was high (IE not now, luck seems terrible at the moment).

The shelved shares numbers on the stats are just informative to show you how many shares you have that are not currently in the top 25 BTC of the CPPSRB share log. Shelved shares can be rewarded regardless of whether or not you're mining, although you will always have shares in or near the top of the share log while you're actively mining. The pool has had a pretty bad run of luck in the short term. Hopefully things pick up. -wk

I realize you can't promise anything, nor will I hold you to it. But, do you think in the next year or so it will be likely that these shares will get paid out?

I realize you can't promise anything, nor will I hold you to it. But, do you think in the next year or so it will be likely that these shares will get paid out? The last 60 days have shown the worst overall luck since the CPPSRB system was put in place I believe. Without actually trying to predict things, I can point out that over the long term Eligius has had around 98% luck, which is pretty good overall for any pool. So, I would expect that in the long term you will get 98% PPS for the shares submitted to Eligius. As in, eventually: all_time_payout / (all_time_payout+shelved)) = 98%. It is expected that everyone will, on average, always have some small % of shelved shares left due to variance. Sometimes in the short term all will be paid, and sometimes in the short term there will be a large % of shelved. But in the end, it tends to balance out. Now, I will point out that since all of your addresses are inactive there are many many shares ahead of yours in the share log by now (we just had a round with 503 million shares...). CPPSRB's long term average is more likely for someone who continuously mines. So, your personal average has less of a change to approach 100% PPS because your shelved shares are behind millions of active miner's shelved shares. Since the share log is paid in a last in first out order (effectively prioritizing active miners) it could be a very long time before you see any of your shelved shares paid, especially with Eligius constantly growing. This is not saying that if you start mining again those shelved shares will have a better chance of being paid. It just means that if you had mined continuously your long term average would end up closer to 100% quicker. -wk

I am mining on guild now, but not because of your support which has always been top notch.

... I am mining on guild now ...
Eventually I'll have to gather up my simulation data that essentially proves that people make more with Eligius...

I can confirm that I made way more with this pool than any other pool I have tried (on daily basis income), I was switching and trying pools since January, Eligius and MTRed (not operating any more) were two of the best pools when it came to the long term rewards.
the only thing I was annoyed about was the poor stats and the long confirmations as discussed before, but my miners were constantly happy mining, wizikid promised that he will improve the stats, if you want to see better stats you just need to donate some of your income, so he can take time for coding.
I sold my miners and I am waiting for new hardware to come, but I wouldn't change this pool if I would be in your place, regardless that I had some argument with wizikid and LukeJr I have to admit that this pool is the one to go with.
this is only my 0.02BTC

I'm going to point to a different coin as a test but wanted to make sure I was in the payout queue first.
It' seems I've been waiting for 3 blocks to get in the queue, is that just a lag in the stats?

There was a small glitch in the new custom minimum payout code that caused the reward system to pause as a fail safe. I'm working on it now and letting it catch up with the shares database so I can get everyone paid. No worries! -wk

I have mined uninterrupted all the time. For Satoshis's sake How it could have happen? My payouts from Eligius almost stalled for two days now. Is this reward lost?

As mentioned a few posts up, the reward system was paused for most of the day today. Therefore no automatic payouts were generated. I will be catching up the payout queue with a manual payout soon. -wk

my previous mining address is still stuck at
Approximately 0.16254336 BTC remaining to enter payout queue. If you remain inactive then you will enter the payout queue, due to inactivity, in approximately a few seconds.
for a few days now..

Its because the balance is below the absolute minimum threshold for entering the payout queue, 2 TBC (0.000131072 BTC). I've been meaning to note that in the stats. I'll do that now. Edit: This can also be if your balance is > 2 TBC but less than 10 TBC. Balances less than 10 TBC do not enter the normal payout queue and are always manually paid. -wk

Why shelved BTC amount was removed from stats? My unpaid balance started to grow from 7 Sep and now stuck at 2.51 BTC for the last 3.5 days while I still mine at a sustained rate 212 GH/s and pool was incredibly lucky yesterday.
Wizkid, please consider manual payout to address 18RHQfmrTcC5MXuFUMxC29W3VWRQtCuvV5. Thanks.
