Well this stinks! Time to find an alternate pool  Sad

Stats seem down, get this msg now: "Stats offline temporarily! Please check back shortly! - wizkid057 "

You should have alternate pools already as fail overs. No one should have their primary pool as their only pool.

Stats are nice, but shouldn't be your primary concern. If your shares are being accepted, then you're probably good, especially at a pool like this which has had a good reputation over a *very* long time.

My hash rate is down about 20%. I think the pool isn't providing work fast enough, causing wait states in my devices.

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there a better API interface that is a little more pointed for specific clients?

It would be pretty sweet to be able to plug in a specific user (address) and pull down all relevant information in one or two smallish urls instead of the large downloads of information containing a bunch of unnecessary data.  Kind of makes phone clients not possible.

For example given a specific user:

* confirmed reward
* unconfirmed reward
* last 24 hours reward
* round start epoch
* last share epoch
* current round shares
* estimated reward for current round
* average hash rate
* array of last X blocks
   * block # (height)
   * reward
   * date found
   * duration epoch
   * confirmations

There is an API interface, I'm just not sure how much data is available through it.  See here: http://eligius.st/~luke-jr/

Full API is still in the works.  More time has been dedicated to keeping the pool up and running and smoothly lately, so, API hasn't been #1 on the list.

Also, to note, stats and pool are completely separate.  If the pool accepts your share, it is recorded, and you will get appropriate credit for it, regardless of the status of the web stats.

Ok thanks, I'm going to try cgminer 3.0.1. But why does this error occur out of the blue? It worked for days without problems.

If one end of the client-server relationship remains unchanged, and then something breaks, then one must point the finger at the other end.
