Hi,

I've setup a node to try assist getting people synced.

If you use:

addnode=nodes.btcrypt.net

in your bottlecaps.conf file it should help you get syncing initially.

You gotta be careful with this so the installer won't mess up user settings like rpcuser, rpcpassword, rpcallowip, rpcport, etc. Also, don't forget that XP and 7 use a different directory path for user settings. Personally, I'm against installers making any changes to my configuration files.

Pretty sure uploading a file to megaupload is the opposite of professional, it's one of the slowest download sites I've encountered.

Why doesn't downloading files from Google Docs work for you?  Do you get an error after pressing Ctrl+S or does nothing happen?  If so what browser are you using.

Bottlecaps has a new block explorer at http://cap.blockprobe.com/.  Doug started blockprobe.com in attempt to get Lebowskis relisted at Crypsty.  I contacted Doug recently to see about getting Bottlecaps added and he was kind enough to do so.  Check it out, and if you like it, send him a donation!  This has been a much needed service for Bottlecaps.

Unfortunately, I am unsure as to who the developer for Bottlecaps is at the moment. The key to use the new developers message box feature ,not seen on any other explorer site, will remain unissued until this has been decided.
