mac wallet perchance? now i'm investing in this, i'd like to have my coins on my main pooter  Grin

Yes I was going to ask Unick to make one, just as soon as the fork is complete. So just in case there are some code changes, I won't have to bug him twice.

fabulous, thanks!

I already have a working build from the latest commits.  I must warn you, I never found why the build sometimes failed on some Macs... So it might work or not for you. but you can have a try Smiley

My guess is we will see the PoW diff go through the roof for a little while. The PoS diff will most likely double..

About 4 hours.......

Tranz,

Do you know if Cryptsy is ready for the fork?  Would hate to buy and sell coins on the wrong blockchain.

Are we forking at midnight UTC or is there a set time/ block number during the day ?
Apols if this is in the info already. Just getting excited Cheesy

The code is set for   GMT. So that is approx 3am EST or about 12 hours from now.

What do we do after this time? Do we have to shut down client and reload?

All you need is version 2.1 of the wallet, no reboot or anything like that.

Hey guys I wanted to include the CAP community into a new project I'm working on. It’s a service that creates artistically designed limited edition bottle caps with cold storage wallets attached, akin to physical bitcoins. The first batch that will be produced is the founders caps to help get things started and hopefully create some trust with the community, if you have some time please have a look and rate which design is your favorite in the link below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672113.msg7613494

Any feedback on what you would like to see is greatly appreciated. After all my main goal for this project is to create more community engagement within the CAP community and also draw some new artistic talent to the coin as well.

Also anyone that might have missed out on the train with CAP, there is the first of many Cash 4 Cap contests with your chance to win a massive 2500 CAP prize! Even if you have never designed anything before, give it a shot, have some fun and design your own logo for the community below:

Looks like it's working perfectly. Also the max stake of 1000 works just fine.
Well done Tranz. Really, well done.

Looks like all is going well!

Seems like all sections forked correctly.  So far I don't see any invalid forks out there (other then the old one).

As noted the stake diff has now doubled and the yearly reward has dropped to 178%. I do think this will be temporary, at least for now.

The only thing missing is fireworks...

Happy 4th everyone! Even you brits  Tongue

What does the "check wallet" function do?

Looks for mismatches from the index and the wallet. It also looks for orphaned PoS/Pow blocks. It only reports what it finds.  Repair wallet will fix any issues it finds.
