Well guys here it is version 2.0 is now ready.

I do need a bit of help from the community.

#1 We need other wallets compiled. Mac wallet for starters(perhaps someone can hit up maxpowers and/or unick). But if you can create a static build for other systems please let us know. I will update that github release with any other wallets.

#2 Flound, please update the OP, and the title with BottleCaps 2.0 and the fork date. I have put in pull requests to both yours and the offical repo. Please pull those in, if you are happy with the code.

#3 The old version does not have the alert keys, so I need your help making sure everyone is on the right version. So if you know someone, give them a heads up.  If any of you want to try to contact Cryptsy, merchants or pool owners that would be helpful too. Probably just need 1 person to head that up.

#4 On and just after the hard fork, please do come back here and make sure all is working well. I am about 99% certain all should be fine. But if there is a need for updates we'll have to move fast. I can issue alerts to 1.999 and 2.0, so your wallet will let you know if there is a problem.

I won't be able to respond to PMs or messages for a few weeks. I have some family affairs to take care of, but I will be keeping any eye on the networks as usual.

• Pool reward system is PPLNS.
• Stratum with VARDIFF.

I have tested it in every way I can think of.  The biggest test will be on the fork date. Up till then, this release is a good as any of them.  If there are any major issues with the network after that date, we'll get them solved.

But I am pretty happy with this. So have at it! :-)

OK.  I'm not really a C++ guy to the point where I could actually check your work, so if everyone's satisfied that this release is good to go I'll merge it.

As far as I can see from Tranz' commits it looks like nothing wallet wise was really changed or will be changed until the fork date. All of the new changes and features have been released in the beta version, which has been tested so far and seems to work great as reported by the community. So I would guess that now there is no way to actually test the fork (except through testnet) and that we are in for a great 4th of July.

Hey Tranz, I'm happy to be onboard with CAPS. You helped me greatly over the last few months with Hobonickels wallet issues. My hobos have been accumulating nicely over the past few weeks. To all potential investors, Tranz is a top notch developer who is very helpful and skillful. I'm very excited for CAPS, good luck to all. I'm also running on CAPS 2.0 and have made withdrawals from Cryptsy with no issues, thanks again and it's only the beginning of June, lol.

I can second this. Tranz is awesome and as far as I can tell is one of the best developers out there. 2.0 is working great for me.

Not quite true. 3.7M vs 4.7M with an even POW generation rate
POS generation will have CAP overtake HBN soon enough.

My gut says HBN a better POS rate and CAP a more marketable brand .. but what do I know right

Tranz has evened up the playing field with the wallet functionality so we'll all be watching with
great interest (pun anyone?) to see this play out over the next year and beyond.

Always been a fan of both these coin concepts and I manage holdings in both.
