Do you know if they are currently doing any big promotions except for these pretty random advertisements?
Nope, i think i wont  be really effective since their platform is still not fully developed according to the roadmap.

Other projects are doing promotions without any platform at all, so why shouldn't it be effective? Especially now, when they could distinguish themselves from facebook and take advantage of the negative attitude towards facebook..
If you see the roadmap, they already did the ICO marketing which spreading the word about the concept of this project in Q3 2017.
And now if they want to do a big promotion where they will "promote their project/product", i think it will be better to wait until its fully developed.
I think they should intensify their marketing campaign during the ICO to capture as many investors as possible.

Considering the situation, they should probably change their roadmap a bit, in order to get maximum out of the situation. To continue developing the product is of course a priority, but now they can do some good promotion with greater result.

They had a very good opportunity thanks to shit facebook had done.

And they wasted this opportunity with silence.

Yes, that is really a shame.

I agree with your sentiment. Maybe they had already paid for these ads and couldn't cancel them. Who knows.

Well, hope for the better and probably everything will turn out to be fine and reasonable later.

As for me, I would rather prefer Sphere to be known for its distinct features as social media platform rather than capitalize on Facebook's blunder and I had high hopes they can do it. Smiley

another concern is the data privacy, Do you store data in client side or a centralized server.. Nothing is private online

Yes, I'm wondering too. Honestly, their lack of communication here and apparently missing the rare opportunity they got through facebook make me question their project.

Well that's not quite right... if the data would be encrypted and that info is stored in the blockchain it would be pretty private.

Yes i think it’s an interessant question to know at which point sphere will be decentralized. Its the main feature and the thing that make sphere a good alternative to social network I think.

I agree, the strong feature I think of Sphere is that the data is stored decentralized and the personal information is processed anonymously

Recently this is very actual, Facebook showed that personal data are vulnerable and it casts a shadow on centralized social networks.

That difference is what it takes to be something of a characteristic and I strongly support Sphere's attitude in this matter.

I agree with you, how come they missed this? I mean they should use this and create some advantage for their project. But they didn't give any feedback about this situation

Maybe they will start to talk soon, it’s true that it’s important that a tea communicate with the community directly on bitcointalk, usually investors like that and that make them more confident when they investe money.

This is a very unique project. This must be the next phase of social networking built in cryptocurrency.  Like facebook and twitter this is an innovative concept and very promising project.

I believe that the growth of interest and increase in this ANN is mainly due to recent cases in Sphere's competitors, this will allow for the inclusion of many new users in Blockchain

Why does it have to be a competition of existing platforms . Wouldn't it be more successful if it provides additional feature by partnering with them.
