On Ubuntu with 1080Ti version 5 is 0.5% slower than version 4

0.5%? How do you even accurately measure that small of an amount? (or are you joking around...?)

Improve mining pool share/hash rates with the aiostratum-proxy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3179895) stratum mining proxy.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

What does 3a6fcd1 in the file name mean? It would be convenient to have an HTTP endpoint with the latest version info so it can be used as a variable in a script or Ansible-playbook in my case. E.g.

Code:
curl -s https://www.bminercontent.com/releases/bminer-$(curl -s https://www.bminer.me/releases/latest)-amd64.tar.xz | tar -xvJC /opt/bminer/ --strip 1

Like https://storage.googleapis.com/kubernetes-release/release/stable.txt

This is a very good idea. I'm not at the stage of needing it, but I can see its usefulness.

Improve mining pool share/hash rates with the aiostratum-proxy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3179895) stratum mining proxy.

Version 5 is much better in performance in fact now uses 99% of all 1080i video cards compared to version 4 that used 99% only from the first and 90% from the others .. but after about 30 minutes of operation freezes without any message .. I was forced to put back the version 4 .. to anyone else from the same problem under Windows 10?

Maybe you can check your overclocked setting or cable connections?

I have experienced same issues with ewbf before. I fixed it by replacing my USB raiser cables. Usually freezing on high utilization is a sign of bad overclocking or unstable cable (USB raiser or power) connections.

BTW, could anyone tell me should I switch from ewbf to bminer or not? I have been using ewbf for a while. Is bminer faster?

I'm not joking around. Given enough cards it's very easy to see when you log everything

It seems Bminer is 3% faster than dstm in hashrate but more power and cpu hungry, I guess this is the case withe latest release?

The miner (v5) will often keep working but stop submitting shares.

It will just output lines like this
[INFO] [2018-01-10T08:23:44+01:00] Total 4347.56 Sol/s 2323.51 Nonce/s Accepted shares 0 Rejected shares 0
and disappear from the pool

confirm, unstable on windows 10 x64, was tested on 4 different rigs, after sometime i have a lot of rejected shares (around 10% of total).

Was tested on 1080Ti and 1060 6 Gb  (8 gpu in rigs).

mm I do not think depends on that since the version 4 works without problems for several days

It happened again, any idea what this could be?

It seems to me that you haven't specified the password in the URI. As a result suprnova is rejecting the connection. Adding the password works for me.

this happend after succefully mining for some time

EDIT:
I can replicate this by just opening the miner again.
This was not the case, so it seems this could be a bug in the "retry" mechanism?

The miner doesn't work on Ubuntu 14 (Ethos)

./bminer: relocation error: ./bminer: symbol _ZTTNSt7__cxx1118basic_stringstreamIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEE, version GLIBCXX_3.4.21 not defined in file libstdc++.so.6 with link time reference

What to do?

Terminate batch job (Y/N)? n

With -max-network-failures 0 set, this should exit bminer..... not working.....  arguments are passed as -max-network-failures 0

[INFO] [2018-01-09T17:18:46+01:00] Connected to zen.suprnova.cc:3618

It happened again, any idea what this could be?

It seems to me that you haven't specified the password in the URI. As a result suprnova is rejecting the connection. Adding the password works for me.

this happend after succefully mining for some time

EDIT:
I can replicate this by just opening the miner again.
This was not the case, so it seems this could be a bug in the "retry" mechanism?

hmm... thanks for the report, will dig into it.

Why does it matter where his server is located?  He's not a pool.

I'm not one to defend mining software developers (charging 2% of earnings is unethical both in terms of model and amount) but, this Panama one is funny:

- those are not his servers but the DNS hosting servers.
- it's a privacy protection applied to his domain name (whoisguard), his servers are elsewhere.
- why does it matter where his server is?
- what's wrong with Panama?

Sounds like someone not technical on the hunt for an imaginary scam.

Anonymous domain registration is normal.  Unless you are selling ASIC miners - of course :-)

This doesn't work on nicehash servers, it says

Code:
[WARN] [2018-01-11T01:46:33Z] Get error: The length of server side nonce is 17 (>16), which is incompatible with this solver, resetting in 5 seconds

Can this be fixed please?

Why does BMiner take so long to get up to speed?

Genuinely interested in this as well.

Improve mining pool share/hash rates with the aiostratum-proxy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3179895) stratum mining proxy.

Maybe same reason as DSTM?
