[ANN]Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash/Cuckaroo29z miner for AMD/NVIDIA GPUs 16.4.9

As of a sudden my bminer is not able to get any hashes from my GPU's while my rig is working norally with EWBF or DSTM, I also tried the latest bminer version 5.1.0 but no luck

I tried rebooting the rig a couple of times but the issue is still there, any idea what could be causing it?

Hello, I'm seeing very good hashrate with this miner, but number of rejected shares is high too, 4-6 % on two different machines. Most common is "share above target", what does it mean?
P.S. On EWBF I have 0.5% rejected shares, so it's not OC or anything.

Which pool are you currently using? Will need more information to look into it.

It just repeats that like 20 times then the miner starting with no issues how do i fix that?

Wondering if anyone here can help me out. I normally use DSTM to mine equihash but wanted to try out BMiner on my system. However when I try to run it the cmd prompt opens, gives no output, then closes. I'm at a loss with troubleshooting since there is no feedback.

In searching around for others experiencing the same problem I only found one dude near the beginning of this forum who didn't have the best English and got ignored.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped and would rather not reformat my system.

Delete the START “Bminer: When Crypto-mining Made Fast"

Then add a pause at the end and it should stay open to allow you to see why it’s failing.

Nicehash equihash servers, tried eu and usa, around the same number of rejected shares on both of them.
I like bminer, and I'd like to use it, but on nicehash sometimes it works fine for hours, and then starts to show rejected shares one by one, and miner even restarts because of it. If you need more info, tell me please.

After two days with Bminer, its has a little bit more hashrate than and very low rejected shares with overclocked settings so far....

Actually the command is good, but you need to set your worker correctly in HUB WORKER CONFIGURATION.

Steps:
After login to miningpoolhub,
on the left bar, click "Hub Workers",
then on the right side, for your work, select your Job to Equihash, don't use "Account's default job".

For mining, you can run:
bminer -uri stratum://%USERNAME%.%WORKER%:%PASSWORD%@us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023

So, it's interesting...I applied your recommended changes and everything seem to work for awhile, but I when I woke up this morning, I noticed that the miner was hanging. The shell window was still open, but the last line had the time from almost 7 hours ago. I checked MPH and had very little gains compared to what I normally expect.

I really like this miner, but problems like this are a red flag :-/

Again, no errors, the shell window never closed. It just appeared to be..frozen.


'SET POOL=us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12023' is set for algo switching Equihash. Does bminer just not like to algo switch? If it does, then something isn't set correctly and/or there is a bug.

Trying out for the first time, using latest 5.1.0.

Runs on linux.

On Windows 10 amd64 there is no output for a couple seconds, then it ends. No error messages, nothing. Just a pause and a return to the command prompt. CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 1700, GPU is evga nvidia GTX 1070. I usually oc the GPU but I tried without any OC and it still just hangs for a couple seconds and quits with no output.

So I've been trying to use different miners on flypool to get some benchmarks. Using windows 10 with 8x1070's.

However, bminer keeps crashing different cards unexpectedly and restarting the miner but only with flypool. Also, about 3 of the 8 cars will have their afterburner settings wiped out.

When I use it to mine on miningpoolhub, everything goes as expected. Only difference is the -nofee parameter. Below is my flypool config.
