I accidentally bought a bunch of shares of ActM a couple hours ago in an attempted buy-in of Labcoin at prices that were 15% above the going rate at the time, i.e., it was trading at .0031 and I bought at .003499. I'll say anything to get the price to go back up at this point.

Ok but it could be worse. What the chance of it going lower and what's the chance of LC going higher in the same time period? It's possible you're going to have opportunistic cost from staying in ACTM.

AngelSky will be better off selling now, buying LC and taking the loss now, as the increase in LC's price will easily cover it. News from ActM won't be enough to cause a significant rise in price due to LC having 10x the hashing power. LC's price will be a reflection of AM's price and ActM's will be a reflection of LC's.

This is my last post till after the weekend as this is literally a trollfest. And paid for by the opposition it seems.

At the beginning of August btc was approx 100USD and ACtM shares were at .0050 (BF) giving a market cap (on 25mill shares) of 125,000 btc or 12.5Mill USD.
Today at the beginning of Sep btc is approx 145 and ACtM shares are at 0.0035 giving a market cap of 87,500 btc or 12.7MIll USD.

So there is no sell off, the equity value remains static. This is how free markets operate. If you look at the share price and ignore underlying value (ie btc) you are an idiot. Or a troll.

No, because the dividends are in bitcoin as well.  It doesn't matter if bitcoin is worth $10 or $10,000 -  AM, Labcoin, ActM all pay out the same.  All that matters is hashpower.

Major dumping and yet the share price hardly moved. Doesn't change anything. When LC brings it's 4 Th/s online within the next 10 days, if its price isn't already above 0.01 BTC, it will shoot up right past it. Meanwhile ActM will still be stuck behind the NDA, their share price will have crashed to 0.001 BTC and they will still have to wait till November just to get their samples and February for normal volume shipping of their ASICs.

Those denying this reality are just deluding themselves and are going to miss out on a major opportunity to profit.

I take promises of Belize-registered virtual entities traded on a virtual exchange which explicitly tells me it's "for entertainment value only" with a grain of salt.  But that's just me.

What are the current plans for chip development?
ActiveMining is in the process of gathering necessary funds for paying NRE costs on its 28nm chip. We hope these funds to be gathered soon, so that chip production can start as soon as possible. Estimated dates after NRE payment are:

• Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks;
• Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process;
• Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks.

If NRE costs were paid on the 4th of August when Ken visited eASIC and no delays, the samples should arrive 12th of October. Allowing for delays in payment of the NRE costs, delays in production and shipping and time for assembling devices, the beginning of November is a good estimate for those samples. Add another month for low volume production which gives beginning of December. Add another month or two for normal volume production and you get the beginning of February before ActM is mass producing miners.
