I had a batch 2 order. I emailed them a few times, no response. They have apparently let my email address fall into the hands of hackers. I received some email today from echosign.com that is clearly not legit, but claims to be some refund form for hashfast.
HashFast screwed up earlier in the year and emailed all of us with everyone's email address in the to field instead of the bcc field. Every HashFast customer's email is publicly known at this point.

I vaguely remember that. I have a feeling this is something new though. I emailed them just a couple days ago requesting a email which is the first time I've even bothered with it. Now I get this fake refund form. Hell of a coincidence if it was from that leak.

Just out of curiosity, care to share it? Were they looking for your personal details?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)

"Win-Win" unless you are already a Hashfast customer, in which case you are reamed up the ass by those "few thousand" boards, whose buyers paid less and will receive their hardware before or at the same time as you.

Update. This is an e-mail chain with dozens of recipients, I'm pretty sure including others here... who are probably reading their e-mail and palming their face right now.

MacDonald seems to confirm the person's question.  Basically, since Hashfast isn't delivering many units, current customers will be screwed because "this will not in any way change the rate at which existing HashFast customers receive their units".

Cognitive meanwhile makes "a few thousand" and sells them, while Hashfast continues to ship a board or two every once in a while.

You legally focused folks, I think your lawyers might want to take note of this one.

^^ don't sign that, it's not an NDA, it's a we-own-your-ass-please-sign-with-your-blood agreement.

I'll have a look for a link to the relevant threads.

Edit: here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=238474.0

Multiple accounts are absolutely allowed.  My understanding of the reasoning is because they can't effectively stop them they just warn people they exist and then let them exist.  Unless they changed the policy and I missed it (quite possible) it is even ok to buy and sell accounts.

Has Hashfast ever confirmed that HashFast_CL speaks on their behalf? I can't believe that any company would let someone like her represent them. Would somebody with a known Hashfast account please confirm that she speaks for your company? Thank you.

I posted the above question twice on the self moderated thread and twice it was deleted.
