Yes, many investors say that the real benefits come from long-term investments. But I think regret it will not change anything, and it could be next week your decision to sell and exchange it with another altcoin to be true.

Everyone expects the benefits of his activities here, and buying the right coin and the right time is the key to investing, although there is one thing that is far more important, that is selling at the right time.

I have my own way. I will buy some coins with a nominal not too big on each coin and I will hold it for a long time. Because the nominal is not big then I will not worry and panic if one of the coins decrease, I will keep it. There's nothing to lose for me.

Decision making is the hardest thing to do when you sold your coins at a wrong timing. If you have decided make it as a final conclusions and those regrets can be considered as a worst past that needs to move on. But if you really trusted your instinct, you must stay on your choice to HODL your coins.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

Yeah, that is the sad part of investing in cryptocurrency market, you will lose everything if you do not have enough patience to hold your coins. Now you have learned your lesson, I hope you will be able to earn huge profit in the future. Don't worry you're not the only experience regrets when it comes to digital currency market especially for long-term investments.

Yeah hindsight can be a pain when it appears that a sub-optimal trade occurred. The best thing that can be done is to evaluate what could've been done better and to move on ensuring you don't make the same mistake again.

if you know that the coin that you are holding has a big potential in the cryptomarket, you should be patient to hold for long because if you are impatient, you will really regret it in the end. That's how cryptocurrency works, if you are going to invest just be patient to wait and see what will happen. Wink Wink

I try not to sell completely, even if the coin has grown well in price-half the cost to sell , leave the rest on Hold , if you sell everything, in the future you can very much regret it. Wink

I think that's not your mistake because no one can know the future. And you don't lose money, you just lose the chance. When I sell some coins, I will delete and remove it from my head. There is no time for repentance. That's just the past, and you are living in the present.

We have all missed opportunities, but sadness doesn't help us. We should focus on finding new opportunities.

Holding is the safest way for earning profit in Crypto. But it has the less profit you could ever gain and probably the coin that you've chosen will not even increase its value over time. Hence there is no perfect strategy in earning profit in Crypto but as long as you know how the market works even the market bleeds you could still earn much more.

Yes, it is but you should just do remember about such a trate of character as patience. Most of the traders are emotional people, especially the newbie. Holding is for professionals and guys that have the stable work.

Surely, each of us had similar stories. The price for crypto currency is too variable. However, in this case, in all likelihood, the significance of an event in the existence of this coin has played a role. Apparently, important changes took place in the project of this coin, one stage of the project ended and another started and this led to changes in the price. Therefore, periodically you need to get acquainted with the prospects in the development of your coin or token, especially you need to do this before making a decision to sell such a coin.

You found out that you sold early after you did it. But at the time of the sale, you were sure you were doing the right thing. And it is.

I agree that HODLing from this point forward is a good strategy, especially in 2018 whilst all these coins are on discount, but be fair with yourself that you can't predict the future. Sometimes it's a good idea to exit coins before they crash
Yes its really hard to get a goodread on what might happen next in the market. The fluctuations are constant, so your coujtermeasures for every situation should be constant too. Hold the coin if the market is down and sell it the time it skyrockets. But there are times it wont reach the peak of our expectations so we sell it even if its quite low. But it's always your choice whether you'll hold it or sell it.

There would be really lots of regret if we'll sell to early than we must and we should. If we really want to earn higher and bigger then we must just wait for the right time and just have more patience because good things always happen to those who are able to wait. There are coins which reach and go to moon in time so waiting is always the best thing to do.

If you’re invested in non shitcoins, then stay confident in the technology and HODL on or even DCA if you can (I know most of us can’t anymore though). It may take 3 months, 6 months, a year or even multiple years, but I believe that some of these coins will flourish in due time.
