hey guys
i received my kit now

i am having issues only one are running but i see all 4 boards on my device manager

it seems like usb 3 is not supported?

looks like you need to connect each board separately to USB2, without the mini-plane that still has a firmware fix on the way.

I run a single board, so did not have this issue.

now i only have one running the other 3 boards no light green coming on
at first they started hashing then each board shows on cgminer zombie and the green light on the eight goes off

i am using the miniplane and i tried molex
i have 650 watt psu

anyone can help me get the other boards running please?
Don't use the miniplane for now.  See Swimmer63's post before your one (each board connected separately to power and USB)

I tried it both ways with no green lights for my second board. I did just for kicks take the first one out and see if it was a port issue (maybe that something was fudged elsewhere) with no luck.

The only thing I know about it is that when I did try to plug them both in power was passing through the non working board to the other board on the mini plane, so one of the resisters is not keeping power where it should. It reminds me of when I had a cheap chinese hub and it was sending power back to a raspberry pi I was testing it on. The rosewell ones I have don't but apparently they have set of ports in them and windows hates that more then reverse power.

I can't buy into batch 3 till I sort out whats going on with my current batch device.

Just got all 4 of mine running in the plane, but one won't green light for me. Powered it separately via molex and it works fine. That fella has some separation of the outer layer of the PCB at where it connects to the plane so I'm assuming that's the issue.

Now to get the thumb running Smiley

Nice work getting them out Barntech.
And wow at 20Gh for each board stock! I was planning on having to overclock to get them there. How high has anyone overclocked these?

IF we are running Raspberry Pi's (as most are) then we can plug 2 boards into each PI since the boards are individually powered?

My CoolerMaster V450S only has 3 Molex connectors though. Any ideas here?

Thx,
IAS

Anyone have any luck getting the boards to work on Minepeon with the Drillbit Github Custom version of CGMiner yet?  I've been getting weird errors and they refuse to do anything.  Been posting on the Drillbit Forums, but wanted to know if anyone here has been successful yet on Minepeon?

Seems most of the successful screenshots I've seen here are with Windows.

The one board I gots on the mini plane waiting with a molex to pci express cable and the 6 pin plug. So not an issue. I would think as long as you don't over clock you could get some grunge speeds and split a molex into 2 if you wanted.

Ckolivias would like you to think otherwise on [her] expectations on where the cgminer is run. I'm sure they'll be some linux users soon posting.

Which one is good for 2-4 boards?
For mini plane...? How many 6 pins PCIE connectors is needed?

Or any other cheap suggestions for UK?

Will be handling Drillbit System UK/EU replacement components soon (waiting to confirm details, stay tunes)

If your doing them on a mini plane ...niether. I'd want to look for one with at least 2X6 pin plugs built in(more if your collecting the whole set). I've got a rosewill fortress 550w 80 plus platnum for over the top HTPC build (I'm not putting a graphics card in yet but I want it too be ready for whatever).

A quick run through newegg makes me think

a fractal (since I believe its supposed to be a good brand)

The 520W Antec have 1 x 6-pin and 1 x 8 (6+2)-pin PCI-E connectors, is that enough?
The mini plane needs 2 x 6-pin PCI-E connectors right?

Well, I've now got 3 of 5 that aren't working...until I hear back from someone I'm not mining.

Hopefully this gets resolved soon...it seems like they start working, go ZOMBIE, then stop working and won't power up again
