I keep getting a message about stratum connection being interrupted. I think it happens when the pool switches coins does anyone know how to stop this? I am using cgminer 3.5 and it only happens on one computer but not the other.

Anyone know how to mix multipools? My rejects are high and I think they are interactions. Can I turn off the new block monitoring? I think that's what it does with the other pools.

Read the thread - this question (and answer) is here countless times. This is normal and it occurs when stratum switch to another coin. You need older version of CG miner to avoid 5 miutes countdown to reconnect. And don´t forget to set failover pool.

Website is down and my miner has now stopped mining as of [2013-12-17 14:38:21] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
I am switching to middlecoin. It was nice the big payout I had received but jesus this thing is very unstable lately. Maybe if he can get his updates in and keep this bad boy stable with multiple stratum servers ill come back. I need to keep mining and not wasting electricity.

Are there any other pools that auto-trade and pay in BTC?
The auto switching coins is great and all but I don't want to bother trading coins and shit.
My miners at HC have been down with disconnected errors for like 6hrs now. Ridiculous.

here is my data from 24 hours of mining for the monday payperiod comparing hashcows with middlecoin.
method: 2 identical miners, each with two R9 280x, running with no crashes on client side. both pools payouts enumerated by withdrawal of all deposited coins, once per day.
hashcows: 0.0168xxxx btc
middlecoin: 0.0480xxxx btc

I can tell you from experience that 24 hours isn't enough to tell anything. Middlecoin has good days and bad days just like the other multipools.

middlecoin had a crazy payout, check their thread. that isn't an apt comparison for that reason

To middlecoin I go then.
I'll come back when you fix your pool. Having hours long disconnects with lots of other shorter frequent disconnects is just ridiculous. Even more ridiculous that you guys claim it doesn't affect the payouts. Um if I can't connect to crunch coins because your end is screwed up then it absolutely affects payout.
