Yeah I think the Trolls have had their fun now. We are better ignoring them, they talk nothing but scaremongering gibberish.

There are a lot of shareholders who might want to get involved on the thread but don't get a chance with all the Troll talk. So can we ignore them, stop quoting and responding to them now? This thread would be so much better without their input.

They think they are doing a job but what of use has any of them actually achieved round here? A lot of us have turned to cheerleading just to balance up their negativity. But we are more than able to scrutinise the company on here in a grown up way ourselves. We don't need Trolls to ask difficult questions we can do that ourselves.

Before today's announcement, I've had nearly full pages of this thread show up as ignored, while it made me a bit sad that some people have so little to do in their lives that they end up trolling on the internet, it does make catching up with the relevant information significantly easier!

Out of respect for those of us with active ignores, would you kindly refrain from quoting well known trolls like VE, bukkake and crumbs? Makes ignores kind of pointless.

Concerning the announcement: well done, Ken. This is a solid development, better than I expected. Keep up the good work Smiley

And if someone is still selling, 0.0005/share - PM  me.

Okay Stuart, I've ignored them all to see how that goes.

Much obliged. Eventually, if it isn't this way already, this thread will separate into two separate worlds: the troll circlejerk and the supporter circlejerk (come on guys, no use denying it, we have some cool stuff in the works and we *may* get a bit overexcited sometimes) with those in one camp having those in the other camp on ignore. I do sympathize with the casual observer who will inevitably be confused as to the completely separate conversations going on in this poor ol' thread.

Things sound potentially interesting, but we have no details on anything. What are these products that were shipped? Are they miners? What models and what hash rate? How much are we mining with? When will we start mining with the new (or original) chips? When are we going to get our dividends that were halted a month ago? What was the hash rate prior to this "Intellihash"? etc.

I hate to break it to you but given Ken's information policy in the last months, there is little chance we'll get answers to those questions, interesting as they may be. I'd say it's a given the "products" are neither drugs nor t-shirts but miners. How much we are mining with has already been calculated some pages before. For the rest, wait for the December announcement Smiley

Okay Stuart, I've ignored them all to see how that goes.

Me too.

I know it's hard to do but I think we have proved they are just out for cheap shares.
We know they wouldn't even be here otherwise - they apparently don't have/want any shares or want to sell them. If you had 50k shares which you were desperate to sell would you be making 30 posts a day saying the company is shit? It really doesn't add up.

Have a great weekend guys. Its been a good day for all of us, we are on to a winner with this one. Wink

My objective is to encourage shareholders to see Ken for what he really is, instead of blindly following him.  Your all like a bunch of North Koreans, praising the great leader only because your money is at his mercy... I'm not trolling for the sake of trolling, I'm pointing out very reasonable things that is wrong with what's happening.

Quote
Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks;
Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process;
Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks.

Let's give the benefit of the doubt... We'll say the samples for the re-engineered design get delivered the end of next week.

Low Volume soonest: 1/3/2014

Normal Volume soonest: 1/31/2014

So pretty much best case... not looking at any thing substantial until February sometime.

These dates and timings won't apply anymore. eASIC have had lots of time to prep for the full run, it will be super quick compared to the process as described there. Anyone agree?

EDIT - and we may have had the sample chips a month ago or more.

I don't believe that the process restarts, we are going into full volume production with the new chips right away (2-3 weeks if low volume chips arrived last week)

I didn't even account for any testing time that Ken and company will need once they receive samples to confirm that the chip is operating to spec.

I really do hope you are right.

I don't understand how it is possible to increase the hashing performance as time goes on. Isn't the hashing ability already hardwired into the chip? Is this intellihash software going to learn how to hash more efficiently as time moves on or something through AI? It sounds great but I don't understand. Why not just program the chip to use its full potential from the beginning?

Maybe we can get a few questions together tomorrow for Ken to tackle. He might be able to explain more detail or might not. Either way, I can't see us not getting regular updates now that we know the bigger picture. Maybe we can ask him to sort out a round up of progress every week?

Almost midnight in the uk, see you guys later.

I would also like an answer to this. If I had to guess, I'd say that the IntelliHash bonus will start at a 20% increase and as we play around with the code some more we could squeeze out some more % in increased hashrate.

One possibility is to reduce voltage for some percent and then power consumption reduces by square of the amount, which means you can have chip at 50% speed but draining only 25% power. That is significant only when network percentage increases so much that the chip can not earn its consumed power. But then reduced speed chip can still work for prolonged period and keep bringing profit because it consume much less power. If they made chips that can work on very low voltages as well as nominal, and possibly have other tricks with turning on and off portions of chip that does not need heavy power it may give significant advantage and increased return of bitcoins that chip would make before its discarded as obsolete. I'm only guessing here tho.
