Any reason Activemining isn't mentioned on the "ASIC Chip - Bulk Sales" area on http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/?

There are plenty of options on the table - last resort being direct shares. Nobody will have to hold anyone else's shares.

I know there are options - but the deadline is 20 days away.

You are right it's unlikely (hopefully) that we will need to do this but I'm saying people do not need to worry or sell as there is this option as a stop gap. By offering this we can make sure no US holder needs to exit this stock for fear of being frozen out.

Thank you for your offer. Hopefully we can find a solution before the 1st.

Did I read that right?  That Ken said he would be able to deploy his miners for these color coins?  There is a reason why we can't use current ASICs to mine for litecoins and other altcoins, and end up resorting to GPU mining.   Are these Fast Hash machines about to break this rule?  I'd like to see an elaboration of this idea that you can use this technology to mine for other coins.. I've never heard of this before!

I don't think you quite understand of mining works - regardless, he didn't say anything about mining color coins.

I believe Ken is referring to a merge-mined coin similar to namecoin which would let us avoid 51% attack.
It would obviously have to be sha-256 and Ken obviously knows that.

Why are you playing dumb and being so cynical?

I believe there are two options that should be considered until the development is finished with colored coins and they are ready to be implemented:

1.) An Activemining alt-coin that represents shares in the company.

2.) The use of Ripple.

Both of these would act as a decentralized solution to trading shares p2p, collecting dividends, and avoiding any further pressure from outside "authorizes".

That link above breaks my heart.

Ken will give us August sales figures in five days time.  I don't think these figures will be of much use, however by the end of October he will issue a three month profit and loss statement and a balance sheet.

This information will be of great use and unless it proves that a proactive marketing campaign and a glossy modern website are not a prerequisite to creating a successful and competitive manufacturing company, then we are in the shit.

Basically Ken has chosen to go against the grain and I sincerely hope he proves a lot of people wrong, myself included.

Even then, there isn't a downside to having a halfway competent marketing/pr campaign going. Even as an insurance policy to grab visibility and orders. Countless times AMC just isn't mentioned among competitors. There isn't a positive side to ignoring it
