@Tagbond,

Is there an RSS feed for tagverts? I was wanting to attach it to one of my sites.

@techbytes - I don't stop working..lol.. wake up with ideas, go to sleep with ideas, and get frustrated when I cannot convert the ideas quickly enough into real life use. But actually, come the new year we will be operating almost 24 hours as I need night staff at my office...

@centurion76 - Hadn't thought of RSS feeds for tagverts..will implement that next week. It will work quite well with the personal sell/auction tagverts system we will go live with on monday or tuesday. That will allow anyone to sell their personal stuff for TAG...and other currencies but an RSS feed would be good internally as well as items are added for sale. Going to have to add a live "ticker"...

No..not enough trading yet...although that will change as merchants in Philippines want to start buying, and users want to sell when they receive as rewards..just time that is all..

Honestly, I don't think a lot of non-taggers know about it.  You did have an announcement in the marketplace, but no one ever bumped it.  I went ahead and bumped it for the sake of more exposure.

I saw that...:-)..thanks...we are going to promote it but wanted to iron out some of the kinks first. We just moved to a larger wallet server - I want to add some more coins to the system soon. We have tied the wallets to the exchange, so that took some time, and now just making sure it is working well before pushing it out a lot more..:-)

Just putting the personal tagvert for auctions/sales together..most coding done but wanted to get some feedback here before we go live Mon/Tues:

Features:

- From personal account, can quickly create a tagvert that is auction/buy now type. Can set a reserve, which will also be the buy now price if option chosen.
- Set pricing in wallet of choice, TAG, BTC, or local currency OR paid in person. Free to post either way, for now.
- Set reward if shared and bought. (ie: share an ad on facebook, and earn the reward if someone buys it from your link). Tagbond takes 20% of the reward offered and paid.
- Posting date is shown, and it will be up for 30 days before automatic disable, can be re enabled for another 30 days.
- You have to have the amount in your wallet to be able to bid for items, to ensure that no one false bids
- When finally bought/won, buyer has option to pay via the escrow for a fee of 1%, which should be agreed by seller to complete the deal. Failure to agree with 24 hours, puts the product back on sale.
- Fee paid on final sale to tagbond is 1%, same as merchant fees via the community tagverts, unless deal/payment is done in person. Not a lot we can do take a payment in that case..Wink

Anyone can search for title or keywords in tagvert, and then add to MyTagverts List - then one can bid or buy at leisure.

We are not using categories, searching will be done via keywords, and we will probably put up popular keyword entries

RSS feeds can be used to include on other sites, not sure if we can put the referrer link on the end of any tagvert, but pretty sure we can create a widget for inclusion on other sites, wordpress blogs etc.

Any ideas on the above, let me know..:-)

I don't know how many times this has been mentioned by others, just want to give a little feedback on a bug in the android app v6.0. When I use it, it gives me a notification that I "received 500PHP from Tagbond", but I don't see it in my account, and I don't think anyone is sending me 500PHP. That message appears every time I start the app now.

Man, Mark.  It must be exciting times over there in the office.  I wish I could be a part of it.  You have any openings for a 30 something computer/network tech?  I'd be open to scrubbing toilets if that was the deal-maker.

Honestly, though... kudos on all the work going into this, to you and your staff.  I honestly don't think people in the alt forum realize how much is going into the development of this project.  I wonder who we can contact for some press on this.  FFS... zeuscoin, who's dev abandoned it and is running on miner support only, made the WSJ article this past week.

Edit- Also looks like the backend for the pool at http://tagcoin.bounceme.net has been down for at least a week now that I've seen.  Not sure who owns this one, but if no one gets it back up, you could probably remove it from the pool list.

I posted in the pool ANN thread, but I figured I would post it here too...

Tagmining.com is having a unusually long round right now, so I'm offering up 25TAG to the person that finds the next block(pool block #90) and saves us.  I'm calling this the round hero reward.  Someone please come claim it lol.

We were already over target when the difficulty shot up... so I guess bad luck, bad timing, bad mojo.  There's always one bad apple in the bunch.

Thanks for the help TB!

I was wondering why the price went up for TAG - it was listed on the btc38 exchange (http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=tag) and is up above $1 at the moment...

@ny2cafuse - It's a fine balance for developing Tagbond as fast as we can, and not telling everyone what we are doing because it forces the price of TAG up, ah well...:-) As for news, we do have our twitter feeds, facebook page etc, but we don't really push anyone to write about us. But feel free to tell news sources yourself, it's always better to come from customers rather than us directly..:-)
I removed the bounceme.net pool from the list, thanks.

Over to the office now to get this auction/sell tagvert up and running by the end of today. I have a ton of stuff I want to sell personally..lol..Smiley

Like what just happened on Cryptsy.. Some dumb multipool had to take a 25% discount to sell their TAGs.

My TAG ID is 12815

Do low hashing miners stand a chance, or am I dead in the water?

Tagged you and added you as a contact.

Your probably better off buying it, either at cryptsy or the Tagbond exchange. Tagbond exchange is the easiest place to buy it because you can use paypal or a credit card (soon) to fund your account.

@tagbond, thanks for the TAGs Smiley

Mark, you are doing next-level shit that is so visionary that you can openly state your vision and no one is going to pick up on it for a very long time indeed.

Satoshi predicted your business by the way:

None. Why do you even need to add more coins? BTC/TAG will serve the community just fine.

I thought that might the response, and I am not convinced I need to add any more coins.. just getting asked by other coin creators to add...so would prefer to get options from others before making any kind of decision.. on the one hand each coin brings a community membership of their own to Tagbond, but on the other hand..a pain in the ass to deal with technically. But really, if someone wants to interact with Tagbond and TAG, they can always trade whatever they have for TAG..Smiley

Making the decision early to display mTAG within the Tagbond system, so that balances are displayed as the number of milliTAGs you have (x 1000) - this is because most people getting rewards don't want to think in terms of decimal points..they like to know how many mTAGs they have in whole numbers. This should last till we get to $100 a coin, which might take a while. For trading on exchanges, they will be displayed as TAG but within the wallets for paying, for getting rewards, they will display as mTAG.

We will at some point bring the exchange internal to the tagbond system, and it will be much simpler to simply buy/sell BTC or TAG within the system. Again I am thinking ahead to when communities and users simply want to buy to do something with it immediately (paying for something, giving out as rewards etc), not just for trading. At that point will probably then display everything as mBTC or mTAG.

Instant trading is a necessity for the end user, IMO.  Telling people that they can automatically cash out their points, should they want to, will make it really easy for the people that get intimidated by currency exchange sites.
