Freebitco is a custodial service and it doesn't work like non-custodial wallets. When you request a withdrawal from a custodial service like freebitco, they send you the payment from their own address.

Well, for my part, every time I deposit on the 'freebitco.in' website, I write down the address I deposited,
and the amount I deposited on it, and when I go to withdraw I look in my notebook that is written down
and see which address I am going to withdraw from, withdrawing the amount that is on it,
and as incredible as it may seem, this amount comes out of the address I deposited is the same.
 And the funniest thing is that after I deposit, I check on the blockchain and it is incredible that it is there after being confirmed,
 but you can do the test for yourself, doing what I said, and then you will have the correct answer.

For now, we all assume they are still paying, just that payments (just as you have said) started taking way longer than they used to take initially, I don't know if to assume the site is getting worst or improving..

On the other hand, maybe the delay in processing of withdrawal requests have something to do with the constant downtimes the site has been experiencing for the past few weeks or days now, I believed the reason for the downtime was possibly due to them working to improve the site, but then, the new issue which is the delay in withdrawal processing is giving me reasons to think or assume otherwise.

For now though, let's just assume they are still paying, atleast, until we begin to see massive complaint of withdrawal request not being processed, again, I will advice people not to deposit new money to the site.

They did post this in January, however there is no screenshot and they have a weird client seed. Almost nobody uses a custom seed for free rolls.

It is very likely they could be lying, either to try and scam the website into giving them a $5 reward or maybe it’s a poor attempt to farm merit. I have been using the faucet for almost a decade and I don’t recall winning anything higher than $0.20.

Their reputation suffered immensely when they had withdrawal issues and other claims. I am surprised even after all this time they are still operating their business and even though the number of complaints became less over a period of time, they still have people complaining. I still believe the decline will result in their eventual closure unless something changes.

Your 0.02 BTC withdrawal payment will be made in the next few days hopefully because as we know the freebitco is making BTC payments but there can be some delays. But then all this is very risky because Freebitco isn't running as they should operate, and there are a lot of problems. You never know when they stop btc payouts too and you will lose your money.

By the way, when did you deposit this money? I think if you knew that freebitco is having problems, depositing, playing , winning, and then expecting payouts isn't the right thinking.

Update on the (rather random and arbitrary) handling of withdrawals:

- one "instant" BTC withdrawal > paid after ~24hrs, 31st March
- one "instant" and one "slow" BTC withdrawal > still pending after 3+ days
- one FUN withdrawal to Binance > paid after approx 3 days

So basically withdrawing is a lot like playing dice now - not hopeless, but with questionable odds...

The BTC payouts are working a bit better now. The SLOW I requested yesterday took 10 hrs to be processed. Another SLOW took 7 hrs.

The fast payout took about 30 hours to process in my case.
The slow is is still pending after 6 days. Not happy about that.

Don't be foolish. Of course you can hit 9998 and 9999, many have done it, and I've done both once. I posted the 2nd one, but never got the promised $5. Those are my best results. I never got 10000 or won any prize beyond 4 digits on the spinner or won the lottery or lambo. Mostly I've found it's not worth the time, and I shouldn't have really started down this path. Once I get my 100,000 rewards I'm outta here.
