I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.

I think criminals will be happen in every where. the bitcoin is secure,so it is possible. your identity cannot be tracked. the hackers, terrorists, and other criminals can use bitcoin for illegal trades.

Highly educated criminals were aware about bitcoin, in the past quite often there were large level hacks who then demand bitcoin as the payment to relieve the hacks. Now this has decreased a large and for the same we cannot say bitcoin is not at all used in criminal activities. The usage still continues.

before Bitcoin exists, the crime is already there, so we can not blame Bitcoin.

Will bitcoin be used by criminals or illegal business? Honestly, bitcoin or even the legal money are possible to be used by criminals for illegal business, but it does not mean that bitcoin is illegal or bad, maybe if this will be used by criminals or in any illegal acts then it is not the digital currency that makes it bad or wrong, but by the intention of the user of using digital currencies for illegal acts or for criminality. Bitcoin as a currency is possible to be used in good or in any bad intention just like the real money or currency.

As i know, for a long time ago everyone has switched to more anonymous crypto-currencies, since all the same bitcoin is too easy to track on transactions. Bitcoin offers too much transparency on transactions

I think you got the point. BTC is not exclusively used by criminals , as the FIAT money.

Bitcoin is prone to illegal activities since it is an open source which anyone can get hold of. Criminals will do anything to get their filthy hands on something they need. And Bitcoin is no exemption.

Bitcoins is not that much realated to criminality because it much more efficient in investment and transaction that helped to improved the market of cryptocurreny and gusto system. Well, it can be really bad promo strategy from gov. Anyway, crime will always find the way to use technologies.

I think the Government will not allow a decentralized currency, they can not control. And the authorities can not just forbid bitcoin. That's why they use this excuse to get rid of bitcoin.
Criminal activity all the time. Not because of the internet, or because of dollars or bitcoins, the crime was committed. Human beings are to blame, they commit crime, not bitcoin.

It is true, some shady people use Btc, but this has been blown out of proportions. Btc is a tool, and like any tool, it can be used for good or bad. The benefits of Bitcoin far outweigh the potential harm, that can be done with it.

It's not about bitcoin, and that it poses a threat. The fact is in what hands it lies. I think it's obvious that bitcoin can be used in the criminal sphere. And this factor can not be avoided. Criminals can use the Internet, but that doesn't mean you have to ban the Internet. Simply there are various tools which help to prevent any actions of criminals. Bitcoin was not created because of criminals so that they can transact easily, it was created because the inventor wants change in the technology, and in the payment system, and to have at least cash less society.

Transactions with bitcoin can not be canceled or withdrawn. So once a payment is made or a bitcoin is transferred to a different address, then it is finished. No one party can return the bitcoin to the owner. These two things become the advantages as well as the lack of bitcoin. These two things also provide loopholes for cyber criminals to steal other users' bitcoins or use bitcoin as a crime payment currency. Ransomware, is just one of them.

Because the identity of the owner can not be traced, bitcoin becomes the idol of the criminals in cyberspace. The potential crime of using bitcoin is not just the bitcoin theft itself, but other crimes such as drug sales, terrorist financing to money laundering.

I do not think that bitcoin is used for criminal purposes more often than paper money. Bitcoin is not a completely anonymous coin. Anonymous cryptocurrencies such as monero or dash can be used for criminal purposes.

true this is not for criminal but most of the time a lot of people make a way to take this currency to be used for some criminals cases that we can actually see that not all of us do this for.

Convertible digital currencies like bitcoin are potentially vulnerable for criminal purposes or illegal transactions such as terrorism financing, money laundering and many more, but it doesn’t say that bitcoin is created through that reason maybe people take the advantage of using this currency because bitcoin provide greater anonymity. Even though bitcoin ledger is public, the payment instruction contain only alphanumeric identifiers of the counterparties, but not their names (so called pseudonymity).
