And could someone check my thinking here please too? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=407565.msg4416655#msg4416655

I like Nxt as it wasn't inflationary and this got me worried, if it was possible. Cfb hinted at starting to make the passcode public in post 23031 too which reminded me of it (though it might have been a joke...)

Thanks!

Edit: the number doesn't match anymore and I can't find the quote. I'm sure I didn't dream it. If the community did x then CfB would gives the first letter/number etc of the passphrase. Hmm.... Huh

After testing Nxt decentralized exchange I noticed that having no decimal places after the point is very inconvenient, because if an asset costs 10 NXT and you wish to sell it with profit the closest possible price is 11 NXT.  I will add "cents".

Now with POScoin you acquire a 1% position in the coin the first month and basically have to do nothing to maintain that position in the future except not sell.
Not quite true. You have to be online in the network in order to fulfill your responsibility of forging blocks. Nothing is for free.

Ive got an idea for tracking down if this windows based close source vanity program is the source of the theft.  If the user who was stolen from  can pull the installer from his hard drive and send it to me, I can install it and use ethereal (IP Packet sniffer) to see if the program phones home anywhere.

It must be originally pulled from the users HD.  I dont want to DL it from anywhere where it may have been changed.

Obviously I will blow the PC away with a fresh OS load after im done testing

nxtion.com update

I updated a few aspects. Smiley

You don't have to send 5 NXT anymore for confirmation. You can confirm your account with a token now! Also you don't have to type in your password for the login. You do this with the token as well!

If you want to send a shout you can do it now automated with a form or by hand. I included a guide in your control panel of how to add a shout by hand.

There are still a few problems with the blockchain scanner. I included the script on the frontpage, so that everytime someone visits the front page, the blockchain scanner will scan for a new block. I hope this will help to keep it up to date.

If it makes problems again please write me an email.

Please consider: The blockchain always lag behind for 1 block! So you have to wait for 2 new blocks after each shout. After the blockchain scanner scanned the 2. new block it will appear on the site.

Also there are currently a few bugs. You have to reload the page after you edited your profile. I will fix it soon.

If you still have problems you can find an introduction video on the front page now! Smiley

An early adopter or developer that owns a huge percentage of a POS coin will be getting paid more and more for doing nothing. In POW an early adopter gets richer only if the coin actually raises in value and once he spends the coins they are gone. In POS they just keep generating more out of thin air. That is just ridiculous.

Making captial by holding capital is called interest.

PLUS NXT has so much more to offer to the world, AM, Alias, TM, Colored Coins, that NXT is not just a currency. Our holding and PoS forging is our payment for recognizing the chance and taking it.

I live in NYC, this city is full of people's names who made MILLIONS and BILLIONS by being the first to do something. Kerosene and Gasoline made Rockefeller RICH by being the guy that knew how to make it. Braided Steel Cables, Rubber Tires, Copper Wires, Light Bulbs. These are all things that have made the world better and singular men RICH beyond their means. They also spawned whole industries that made MILLIONS more peoples lives better and wealthier.

IF NXT works as it is planned, it has a chance to disrupt some of the most valuable companies in the world. Google, Visa, All the Banks, Stock Markets, and Global Trade. There is PLENTY of room for everyone else to be a part of this.

We get to be the Pratt's, the Roebling's, The Edison's of this generation by all of our insight and work towards a BETTER world.

PS Long on NXT!

Interest is only when there is equal proporcional interest from all investors. Here you have equal and equaler stockholders... small rich elite and many users who promote NXT making elite richer while getting no interest from it. There was no real redistribution in NXT. These with really big amounts - NXT Aristocracy - are rich (official story is like a greek myths ) and are getting rich while others - the majority of NXTers have no chance for being true stockholders. So how you can call this situation? How just is it? How equal?
eMunie will have similar system rewarding stockholders but with true redistribution.

Rockefeller got rich and after it he wanted get even richer so he built monopoly killing competition. How moral is it?

Without real redistribution you will still have a few leechers, monopolists in NXT system with big impact on rate with power to crash rate anytime. It is not only about "interest". Being monopolist let you manipulate rate on exchanges too.
You didn't see how they do it on dgex? They can do it on any exchange just because they can make big walls to make panic or block rate where is more profitable.

Proper redistribution is essential. If not on start than in progress of functioning of coin.
And here there was no healthy redistribution at start and there won't be any in time, because big stockholders can't be forced to redistribute their own property and noone normal would do it when he has guaranteed profit while others will work for him promoting it.

Without real redistribution you have no balance in system and this will cause problems in future.

NXT can be disrupted itself by itself... before it will disrupt anything else...

I gave proposition to change system and reward in half owners and in half all active Nxters who are real force and should be real majority owners of NXT. But they don't want changes. They think it is ok with monopolistic system with equal and equaler stockholders.

Some people already wanted to build better world and they ended creating communistic totalitarism worst than even german nazism... so its better to not be hurraoptymistic because it is dangerously near to success propaganda.
