The general trend of the market is now saying that all projects go a long way, and we should not expect a change in the trend in the near future. We will sit and wait for the manipulators to change their decisions.

But in my opinion the main question is why the period of collecting money is so long. I think that it is due to difficult time for ICOs in general, it is more difficult to collect money now and the result is that ICOs oblong their ICO period. They believe that it increases their chances for success.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I think one of the reasons why ico take long time to end is because they need to achieve their goal for them to launch the project and sometime, because of the rate of scam in the crypto community, investors take time to do a deep research before they invest in the project and most people invest only small amount in the project.

I think when ICO period is long that only indicates that the founders aim at engaging more people, raising stakes and eventually collecting more money. In my opinion, it by no means reveals what results they get

Usually the longer you take part in the bounty campaign the more steaks can be earned and, accordingly, the reward will be greater. But if you participate in the campaign which lasts six months, then during the same time you can participate in three bounties which will go for 2 months and get a large reward.

ICO  are long this days because developers are following up on the crypto market trend, they do the token to get dump in the space, as this might have a negative impact on the implementation of there project and product development, hence they prospone the crowdsale, please not that does not mean your earning or profit will be high as an investor or a bounty hunter.

It all depends on the project, some ICOs go for a couple of months, and payments are worth waiting for a month, and some ICO are completed in just a week - two, and even less, everything in the first line depends of the project hard-cap

For me I think people teams set a longer period for their ICO becuase they are trying to ensure they have enough time to reach out to wider audience in that way be able to reach maybe something close to theri hardcap....

Sometimes and especially today, ICOs take longer because of current negative situation around the cryptos: many people don't invest due to current high volatility of the market. Fund raising takes longer or fails.

ico is the way they fundraise.they want neccessary money to start their project. so they should collect funds till at least they reach their soft cap. thats the reason why icos take too much time to over. they extend it.

Everything is simple enough. The rewards depend on the conditions of the bounty campaigns. If bounty has fixed token amount rewards, lets say for example 100 tokens per week, then the answer is yes. You get a different award depending on the ICO length. But if a bounty has a system with stakes, then the reward should be the same

ICOs periods are long because projects need to make some hype, to bring the view of future product to all possiblie investors. If team rushs with money collecting then they risk not to even collect a soft cap

It's related on how long ICO is planned. Sometimes they will reach hardcap sooner and finish ICO faster but sometimes they won't reach even softcap.

Also market situation is influential for long period ICOs. People don't trust every project in bear market and don't investing in this circumstances. We have to research extensively before investing any ICO. Bubble and scam projects can't survive by this way in cryptocurrency market.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

i am no expertt, bt i think that it depend on every particularnico, i do notthink that there is any normal period, it depends

In addition, the project should show potential investors what they are doing, otherwise no one will believe in the capabilities and potential of developers. Do not just forget the PR campaign, promotion in social networks and much more. This also takes a long time.

If a limited amount of compensation is allocated to the bounty campaign, then an increase in its terms will result in a decrease and dilution of the shares for each participant. For a bounty hunter, it is better to leave such a campaign.

In the journey of raising funds for a project through ICO,  a lots of unforeseen situation arises and most often than not,  the team behind project would need to re-strategize. New planning and action required for new challenges.

Some ICOs will conduct a private sales to convince high earned investors for support. All these plus public sales and development of the project goes hand in hand. these cause the ICo to give a long period timeline to enable them to meet deadlines.
