And, I've setup my cube to: 192.168.1.200
Excellent. Did that help? Since you didn't mention that everything was awesome, I'm guessing not. Did you get the Stratum proxy set up, BTW? We seem to have skipped that step in the troubleshooting.

Quote from: nvjar on Today at 02:09:25 AM I have tried to trouble shoot for days but I can't seem to get to my cubes settings page. <snip> I'm pretty sure I'm just missing something small but I'm pretty new to this so if you know what I did wrong and can explain like I'm 5 it would be appreciated. I don't see anything wrong with your settings on your router, but please note that I haven't dug around in a non-Apple router in years. Speaking of which, I wonder if you should have static DNS servers set? As noted above, Google's DNS server at 8.8.8.8 is highly regarded. Have you tried pinging your Cube? This would tell you for sure whether or not your PC is seeing your Cube. You can ping from the Windows Run app. I found a tutorial with screenshots for Windows 7 in case you are unfamiliar with this: http://www.wikihow.com/Ping-in-Windows-XPThe short version is you would type ping 192.168.1.254 in the Run app, and it will then spit some stuff back at you. If your PC can find your Cube, it will spit back something like: Code: 64 bytes from 192.168.1.200: icmp_seq=0 ttl=100 time=7.777 ms You can read more about pinging at that link, on wikipedia, etc. If it doesn't see your Cube, it will timeout, or maybe give you some hits with really high times (in thousands of ms) interspersed with timeouts. That would mean you have some issues on your network, like an IP conflict. Here are the results when I ping the cube and from an IP scan. This doesn't seem to even read the cube as being functional. If there weren't lights flickering I would have thought it was DOA. this may help, maybe not... make sure the pc you are connecting via, is not connecting via a wireless network (use ethernet)

What needs to be done with the Stratum Proxy? I thought I only needed to download it and run it. Does it need to be configured? Thanks for your help.

make a .bat file to run your mining proxy.exe and point it to a proxy - this one is set to 7560... "C:\Users\pathto\mining_proxy.exe" -gp 7560 -o stratum.bitcoin.cz -p 3333 pause double click the .bat file... then chuck the .bat file in your startup folder (in case of pc restart, it'll run automatically) please tip: 1ANNJV7tpJPRXKJEmK4ub26WjPxzziuJ7n enjoy

you can select any number you wish, that .bat file is the creation of the proxy.

i'm not so clued up on python, sorry. you can run the stratum proxy with the following command line "mining_proxy" it defaults to slush's pool so you only "NEED" the port settings for other pools. You can also add the -q switch, reduces the amount of crud it prints to the screen and the -rt switch, allows the difficulty to vary according to the power of your cube. Have you got the Python runtime installed?

IS it true these can only be setup on a 192.168.1.0/24 subnet which is non configurable? Will it not pick up DHCP off a different type of subnet such as 10.0.1.0/24?

Cubes aren't DCHP so you need to be on a .1 subnet to configure it. Once you get on the page, you can put it on whatever subnet you like. If your router doesn't allow subnet changing (pretty sure all do...), you'll need to visit a friend's house.
