How is this coin fairing now? I remember spending hours on release to mine absolutely nothing, has anything changed?

Follow this thread about a pool https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1421.45.
I think it will only take a few more days that we will have a pool

Pool will just make it easier for cloud mining- my only costs risk is electricity.

1000 MMC 900 MMC and counting! Create a working MMC pool to collect the bounty.

Pool will just make it easier for cloud mining- my only costs risk is electricity.
A pool will allow anyone to get consistent payments - cloud mining or not.

Solo-mining is like searching for a needle in a haystack. You only get paid when you find a block, and that is no easy task.

Difficulty stabilized after FreeTrade's fix, it doesn't swing up and down violently as before. You can use new Profitability Calculator to get an idea how long should it take for you to find a block. So check it out and see if you want to jump back to solo mining again.

Like I said my only risk is electricity- you could cloud mine for a month, get nothing and be out of a good hunk of change. Gotten two blocks so far- odds seem okay to me.

Debian Linux Server/Cloud Miner Script

This is a Daemon Helper script that makes managing your MMC miner seamless.

Use and test at your own risk.

I have been relentlessly working on this for a couple of days now + running it on my servers.

I've seen performance increases of 10-40% on most of my servers just by running this script.
Also, repairs and reinstallations are effortless.

Features:
  • Completely easy Installation
  • Easily Restart your Daemon
  • Easily clear Block DB
  • Rebuild from scratch for new versions or to start fresh
  • Get Daemon Information
  • Print Last debug lines
  • Watch Debug Information (checks if daemon is doing something)
  • Watch Daemon Statistics (fine tuned without daemon performance degradation)
  • Auto Restart Capability on crash (WIP)

Code:
cd ~;rm mmc-beta.sh; wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50880632/mmc-beta.sh;chmod +x mmc-beta.sh; ./mmc-beta.sh

Feel free to browse the code and make new suggestions.

I have 15 hpm on all my comp. I mine 2 day. Today i found my first block on comp with 1 hpm. Computer with 10 hpm blocks until he found.

I mined from the start of the coin for 96 hours with 16.5 hpm...0 blocks...than I got depressed  Cry

BUT THEN...I received 1 MMC from some really nice guy here (thanks again) and I was like  Cheesy (yeah I know, 96h at 16.5hpm and 0 coins...that sucks...but that 1 MMC made me happy the same way as finding a block because...cause it's really nice knowing there are still people who find some joy in making a complete stranger a bit happier than before).

So I would like to send 0.1 MMC to the first 3 people who quote my message (and please, only people with 0 coins. Don't be greedy and create a new adress just to receive 0.1 MMC...let other people enjoy this really small gift - yeah sorry, don't have much Smiley )

My MMC adress is: MBMKm9teYENTfaxYkeAAdMpb9BP33254c6
I wirte it down, but in case you feel generous and want to send some coins, consider that I received 1MMC and maybe someone out there has not yet  Smiley

MDQhrmhc2wTTDFS1NiqEjkbirZgRqFXtch

If the offer is still valid,  Thanks.  My empty wallet thanks you.

Thank you.

reward decreased to 266 MMC per block  Cry

Around 13 weeks until block reward is halved -- 140 MMC Block Reward. (week of March 23rd, 2014)

Around 27 weeks until block reward is fourthed -- 70 MMC Block Reward (Week of June 22nd, 2014)

These blocks are such a steal for a reward every 6 minutes and are extremely decent for steady circulation.

I could expect difficulty to go up with a pool and a decrease in cloud mining as difficulty increases and block reward goes down.
