Why would make sense for him to hang out in the chat room for a smaller competitor?

Quick StartStart with registering on our pool & creating workers for your computers. You can use our automated config generator in our workers page and download pre-configured files for your mining software. EU Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://eu.coinum.org:3335 US Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://us.coinum.org:3335 CGMiner Configuration Here is sample CGMiner configurations with fail-over support. Given that the stratum server you use fails, your miner software will continue to work with out other stratum server. Note: You have to change WORKER and PASS with your actual worker-name and worker-password values you get from workers page. EU./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13 US./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13 - Our network - We already operate first class & high performance pools, check our other pools over http://www.coinium.org

Paulgr (one of the moderators of the trolbox on btc-e) does'nt like ppl advertising for coins that are not traded in btc-e. have seen him more than once banning users who do that. it's bad PR right now. IMHO.

Mike, do you think poolerino is going to be back up in the next hours?
With all the pool issues going on right now, what is current network at ? under 2GH I assume?
How/where can I find that information?
Thanks in advance.

In case any newbies read this, go back three pages to where this guy states that he is mining at 20KH/s on a single CPU. Consider the probability of him having 500,000 EAC when that would be several days' production for a mid-sized 30-40MH/s GPU farm. Finally consider that you can buy all you want for less than 1/2 cent each on the exchanges. If this was intended to be a joke, next time try something that has a chance of being funny. Things that start with "Knock, knock" or "A priest, a rabbi, and a hooker walk into a bar" can be a good place to begin. oke................ i sell 1.0 eac for 1.0 USD ! in batches of 500,00 eac's .... and you can pay trough payal eY4WcL4tfDmyCeu5Y4SJ3ztHEiJeVRHS6H thanks in advanced ! keep eac up !!

Possibly a dumb question, but I don't know the answer, so here goes. The client appears to be capable of CPU mining within itself, like the old bitcoin client was. If this is true, how do you set it up for solo mining, and can it be set up for pool mining? Also, if this doesn't turn out to be a dumb question, you might want to put the instructions on the original post. Then again, maybe not. CPU mining isn't that popular these days it wouldnt do much, you really do need a GPU to mine these I'd still like to know. I have several computers that could be dedicated to it. They are old. It's for fun Its very easy. Simply join a pool, register a worker, enter your url, worker name, port and start mining. A standard computer will do around 8kh/s. You're right it would be for fun.
