Does deepbit report which blocks it has mined?  Or is there an API which provides this information?

I can't seem to figure this out looking at their website: https://deepbit.net/stats

They don't do any kind of coinbase signature like most pools do.  They do report their blocks on the website, but as posted a few pages back, the average time for Deepbit to solve a block is now nearly 5 months.

Plus they change their generation address every block. They don't want their blocks identified until after a significant number of shares have been submitted or they'd be too easy to pool hop on proportional payout.

5 months?  That doesn't seem accurate.

Blockchain.info which uses the imperfect method of IP analysis of relay nodes, reports that today Deepbit is finding 1% of blocks.

The last block was November 28th: https://blockexplorer.com/block/000000000000000094810ade65f4c8e6f830af20f313050109860abe13badedb

If blockchain.info are reporting 1% Deepbit blocks then they are wrong-diddly-ong. Try http://blockorigin.pfoe.be/chart.php instead.

Some clarification:

"Please_wait_for_autopayment!" message in most cases is shown when hot wallet is empty or you want to withdraw more than it contains at this moment. Usually hot wallet is refilled daily if empty. If you want to withdraw a substantial amount (tens of BTC), you can e-mail me so I can perform an additional refill for your request.

"Please_wait_2_minutes!" means that you are clicking that button again.

I'm running some maintenance at this moment, so payments may be declined. Normal operation will be resumed tomorrow.

If it's not your last payment then you can just enable autopayment and it will be issued automatically when possible.
If it's your last payment or you want to withdraw the entire amount down to sub-cents, then do not rely on autopayment, just try again tomorrow, when it will be fixed.

My username is belleck@...  I've also emailed from (gmailaddr) Ragnarohlsson.

So, deepbit you answer questions from others but not me.
It is obvious you are feeling guilt for what you have done..

I login with my username and password and try do initiate a payout to my wallet (note: the wallet is the SAME wallet I used when I registered the account back in 2011 and it is the SAME wallet I've previously done payout to).
The payout page says I need to check my email for confirmation. But.. my email hosting provider has SHUT DOWN, that is COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL.
Help your customer, fix the email confirmation. You dont have to change the email since I know you cant.

It is a simple issue deepbit, just look at the history in my account:
30.03.2011 10:20 141d9jMvk1BXyLnjQ5rF... 0.05

Just think for a second..
Get the payout going, WTH is the problem?

Problem solved.
Please note that I recommend disabling autopayment in your case because it will only send 1.60 BTC, leaving 0.00661881 there.
Instead you can request a manual payment, copying the entire amount to the request form this evening, when hot wallet will be refilled.

While you are at it ... can we expected stratum support any time soon? I am sure this is the main reason for not getting more hashrate to the pool and we will all benefit from that

Yes, additional work is needed because of that "transaction malleability" problem. Sorry for delays, but it's something that should be fixed.
As you may know, MtGox and some bitcoin exchanges also had to temporarily suspend payments until this issue is resolved.

Hello,

I got an automatic payout, but there weren't shown in block explorer neither in my wallet.

Even I got no answer to my mails. Very bad.

What is the problem?

The payout wallet address didn't change.

Ok, I have been watching this pool for some time and it seems that a lot of people are eager to jump and shout but is anybody willing to help out....?? I ask this because I mine BTC I also mine other currency's BUT I can hold my hands up and say I couldn't do what any of the pool managers do and to be honest I am pretty dam grateful for there efforts even if its not always perfect.

I will say I understand people want what they have "earned" but maybe if members put there heads together and offered assistance then maybe this pool could become king once more..?

I think confidence is dwindling in the pool as there seems to have been no "visual" site updates since 17 Mar 2012 and many people complaining about lack of responses to emails questions and general communication along with interrupted payments.

Letting the Mining community know what is going behind the scenes to keep us earning our BTC would be a good idea along with keeping the pool up to date and also making us aware of any up coming possible interruptions.

Please dont take this as a criticism as its only my own personal opinion, and I have just put 25ghs of my mining equipment back into this pool and I am looking forward to your changes on moving the pool forward to keep up with the changing times.

If DeepBit started using stratum (or some other local work method), I think it would grow again.

Fully agreed, partly my point it was a great pool it just needs to catch up.

They had their opportunity when they were the biggest. The suspicious way the admins repeatedly avoid any discussions about modernising the pool suggested to me ages ago they had no interest in keeping up and are quite happy to let it quietly die off. They made enough BTC from the days it was the biggest and only reliable pool and were charging the highest fees.

Please, update the pool news section informing of this.
It adds to the paranoia when you try to payout and all you get is "please wait"
