I'm writing here because my mails to pool@deepbit.net have been ignored completely.
I used to mine with deepbit some time ago (2011), and now I have around 0.1 btc left on my account
which I'd like to withdraw. The problem is that the mail address I registered with was from lavabit.com, and
since the Snowden-incident I cannot access this account any more. This is why I have
no way of changing the payout address. I still have full access to my deepbit-account
and I have copies of all my old mails, so I think I can make it plausible that I am the
legitimate owner. Is there anything one of the admins can offer to help me?

And: Sorry for spamming this thread, I think this is not of much general interest. But I didn't
manage to get a response from support, so I don't know how to get into contact with
the deepbit-team in a different way..

Ok, I have been watching this pool for some time and it seems that a lot of people are eager to jump and shout but is anybody willing to help out....?? I ask this because I mine BTC I also mine other currency's BUT I can hold my hands up and say I couldn't do what any of the pool managers do and to be honest I am pretty dam grateful for there efforts even if its not always perfect.

I will say I understand people want what they have "earned" but maybe if members put there heads together and offered assistance then maybe this pool could become king once more..?

I think confidence is dwindling in the pool as there seems to have been no "visual" site updates since 17 Mar 2012 and many people complaining about lack of responses to emails questions and general communication along with interrupted payments.

Letting the Mining community know what is going behind the scenes to keep us earning our BTC would be a good idea along with keeping the pool up to date and also making us aware of any up coming possible interruptions.

Please dont take this as a criticism as its only my own personal opinion, and I have just put 25ghs of my mining equipment back into this pool and I am looking forward to your changes on moving the pool forward to keep up with the changing times.

If DeepBit started using stratum (or some other local work method), I think it would grow again.
Fully agreed, partly my point it was a great pool it just needs to catch up.
They had their opportunity when they were the biggest. The suspicious way the admins repeatedly avoid any discussions about modernising the pool suggested to me ages ago they had no interest in keeping up and are quite happy to let it quietly die off. They made enough BTC from the days it was the biggest and only reliable pool and were charging the highest fees.

Possibly a fair point! It would be a huge shame, Although if that is really the case why dont admin at least let everyone know that support is stopping and the pool is is closing.

It would be superb if the admin could clarify the situation one way or another.

No, AFAIK DeepBit has not been hacked. Why do you think it was?

Most likely this opinion arose from the fact that there is no possibility of withdrawal.

Of course we are not hacked, I posted a notification of oncoming maintenance in advance (and then that malleability issue hit "just in time").
I'm really sorry for this delay, just decided to deploy more updates and fixes to our payment system since I'm already at it.

I'm planning to run all pending autopayments tomorrow and then I'll post a notification about current state.

Welcome to my bitcoin mining pool: https://deepbit.net ~ 3600 GH/s, Both payment schemes, instant payout, no invalid blocks !
Coming soon: ICBIT Trading platform

Hello,

I'm writing here because my mails to pool@deepbit.net have been ignored completely.

My username is maximusmx..@.....
I have around 21.08 left btc left on my account which I'd like to withdraw.

All my tries to transfer btc (152Gg6BnaBRE1hoZwPX.........) I receive "Please wait", nevertheless, no transaction has occurred.

What is the problem?

PS 7 months of mining, and now I can't receive my btc Sad
