Hello, brand new to noble coin and I'm only lightly familiar with cryptomining in general. I've downloaded NobleCoin and I've attempted mining, but I haven't noticed any deposits so far.
A few questions:
1) I was wondering how best I can mine NOBLs? 2) Should I join a pool, and if so, what are some good pools that still work? I see a lot of dead links. 3) What is scantime? 4) How do I know when I've earned NOBLs thru mining? 5) Does anyone have any cheesecake here?
And if it helps any, my system is an i5-2500K @ 4.2 GHz with a GTX 650Ti BOOST 2GB graphics card.
Thank you all!
1. if under windows just use your wallet. I do not think it makes sense to invest lots of effort into setting up mining etc since our PoW mining will shut down in 3 weeks. To start mining just type in console 2. There is no pools AFAIK. 3. scantime? 4. Look at 'Recent transactions' or go to 'Transactions' and see if you mined 1000 coins. 5. Cheesecakes are overrated!

real smooth and well done so far. Pow Mining Rewards are just a bit low imo and you need to update the Opener with some Pools. Are there some working Pools now at all ? Solo Mining never was my cup of tea cause i always turn my rig off over night. Good job anyway. Thank you. PoW is temporary until PoS is stable. Opener - still looking for someone to edit it. Any volunteers? Pools - if someone wants to set it up, fine. But not sure if it makes sense for 3 weeks. Solo mining is great. You almost feel like digging for gold in the ground

eagleflies, can you post a standalone m7m miner that works with NOBL? I can't get the mining to work other than through the GUI. Would like to run the miner externally with a m7m miner.
Thanks!
Hi there! I do not want to spend time on this - we have just 21000 blocks to go with PoW mining. you can either compile noblecoind under linux or run GUI under windows.

Really great job , you have no noble donation adress for a small tip ? I'm happy that you're happy Here's my address: 9acVmwMxq8nKfpvvfwtKu7Vp6xE5dhHx7o Thank you! That's nice , little tip should be there. Thank you ! Cheers!

Sorry I didn't get around to paying out last night. Latest round of payouts have been done. Total paid out: 355000 Total entrants: 52 Remaining funds: 895062.83320647 NOBLToday is the last day, so get your free PoS flavoured NobleCoin http://promoplugs.com/Campaign.aspx?CID=147Addresses that have not worked, pm me if these are yours: X4NPbmfMUm7MC9ZKsSBTEMucXeCHaf 1E8GyrMRMPGLktvAEBL1FqmMeTcd877FX6 1FnsWXNadQWcYEt2LWELch8LCcntgUyGi6 SR9XDBAKWtYd8NddyBK4VaK2roa2VBsmmQ 9nZKZxHsJuh5nHM1AcmEhpSa7WEMNuBFj AFAIK all noble addresses should start with 9 so the only one which looks legit is last one.

good job eagleflies
i wonder why u did choose against merge mining with magi u could even use same reduce rewards when to much hashrate system as u use at magi and only tiny mining rewards at noble as aux hashcoin anyway (so the pow would create additional inflation is not correct)
this way strengh noble network with magi pools and create a m7m mining family
would all have been good promotion for magi which i see as a underrated coin with great active community
but just my opinion hybrid POW/POS in my opinion is superior to pure POS if done right
Thanks! Well, community voted to have PoS and I understand PoS (to some extent). I do not know too much about merged mining ATM. If we start thinking about merged mining in the future I would prefer to switch towards merge mining with litecoins. Sounds like safest option.

Hello, I've been reading this: " https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Importing-private-keys-from-old-wallet.dat-using---salvagewallet-option " over and over again and I just don't understand the part 5. ... So to begin with, I had a PoW wallet ENCRYPTED on my PC#1 so I downloaded a new PoW wallet without encryption to my PC#2 and sent all my Nobles from my PC#1 to my new wallet on my PC#2 which is not encrypted and everything went fine. Then I back-upped my wallet.dat from the PC#2 PoW wallet and copied that wallet.dat to my PoS wallet roaming folder. But what I need to do next? Where do I put that "-salvagewallet" command? I tried to start my PoS wallet just by clicking the PoS noblecoin-qt and the program just crashed like I thought and then I added the -salvagewallet command after the noblecoin-qt.exe like this "noblecoin-qt -salvagewallet" and started it but it gave me an error report and crashed. So where do I put that -salvagewallet command or is there somewhere some salvagewallet.exe which I need to run? Thanks.

IF afterwards it does not matter and money is still in encrypted wallet. Documentation was written before the switch and presented option of transferring money to unencrypted wallet. But now this option does not exist anymore. I have updated docs to present current options.

Added links in the explorer to the guide for funds transfer.
Also cleanup up the orphan chart (the spikes where due to test wallet experiments)
