warning: mintpal is ridiculously manipulated. watching these orders is making me laugh.  Grin

What, because its going down -> manipulation?

I dont mind my UTC value dropping because I love that the people who bought the premine are down even worse than me. Its an awesome thought.

What, because price is falling --> you think I think price is manipulated? I made no mention of price being dragged down. I mentioned order activity, and i have posted my "fishy" findings earlier in the thread. I love me some cheap UTC, but this isn't good. Public opinion has decided UTC isn't worth what we all think it should be worth. Better find some real world applications for UTC......

i see whats happening just a daylamer trying to increase his coin count

but if he keeps forcing the price down to feed his habit the coins he makes wont be worth shit

SxC, if you are referring to me, I am not trading at the moment. Not buying, not dumping, not daytrading. I am observing the markets since CT shut down. I do not trust new exchanges so easily, especially an exchange that started based off it's own coin, Mintpal. Cryptorush makes me laugh: linkandzelda run that show.... come on now..... I'm not putting my coin into a site run by a "linkandzelda".

We need people with strong ethics and the common sense behind it to run an exchange. If Kevin O'Leary, aka Mr Wonderful, had an exchange, he'd do it right, IF he believed in BTC. No beta software, no slapped together web design. Looks like CT might be the way to go, but why must we all choose the "lesser of all evils", why can't one exchange be golden, above the rest?

I think you have pretty much sumed it up. Lets put our energy into promotion rather than sitting are writing negative comments and getting drepressed at the current UTC price

KC

King C, I totally agree +1

I'm sure you were the member who suggested the T-shirt idea, we need to take that forward if possible, I know its early days and there not many online businesses the accept Utc as payment but in time I feel that will change, having T-shirts for sale and other items paid with Utc could be profitable once the value of Utc increases and I believe that will happen.

 Smiley

Indeed it was I and Bumface responded straight after with some very positive input, we can make this happen.

So, working on an attitude adjustment here.

Bumface has basically said his hands are tied, he has no resources, and no clout.  He doesn't have any information about adjusting the N-factor or getting on big, reputable exchanges.  I don't hold it against him at this point, it is what it is, and it isn't important going forward.

WE are now collectively the coin owners.  We hold a much larger stake, and we have a lot more ability to get things done.  We need to make our own way with this thing.  A leader isn't going to lead this thing to success, so we need to get it done as a group.

https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/75770

Please go, LIKE the post, and post a comment if you like.  This is the single best thing you can do for your coin.

Getting on Cryptsy is priority #1, #2, and #3-#100.  We need volume and exposure to fresh btc to get back on the right track.

Also, there is still 100 btc worth of buys sitting on Crypto-Trade.  This can work to our advantage in two possible ways: 1) the owner of those coins pulls them and loads up buys at MintPal for now to stabilize that market; or 2) when Crypto-Trade reopens, they will be there and we'll be back to a reasonable price.

Lastly, we need another coordinated effort with the pool owners to please post a link to the Cryptsy vote forum.  Nitro, Leetpools, etc...help us out please and update your message to include the link above.
