Miner, Hodler and (very small) Trader.

Agree with the exchange comments. It's [crypto-trade.com] a great layout etc., but does'nt have the real performance demanded of a financial exchange. This can be fixed but that needs to happen fast. The frustration of trying to use let alone trade on it has deterred me from using it in the future. A shame cos it was the first and deserves the love. But the guys have to pull theirs fingers out and get faster servers or they'll lose more customers.

As for other exchanges, these need to come on line ASAP as we all know and I'm sure Bumface and Co are working hard to make this happen so I wont labour that point.

Keep up the good work and hold the faith.

new pool : http://utcpool.com/

message from the pool operator :

"UTCPOOL.COM was created due to the amount of ongoing DDoS attacks against many stratum servers to try and lower the difficulty of this coin and allow the culprits to mine many more coins while public pools are down.

We are only charging 1% FEES

Many of the existing UltraCoin pools have been unstable and constantly under attack and with inconsistent hash rates and pay outs due to this UTCPOOL.COM was born.

We would like to be open with the community and let them know what hardware and network we are running from. Our current network provider is Gigenet which is one of the best providers in the business for handling large DDoS attacks, this is a well-known fact in the IT industry. At the time of writing we can handle up to 4Gh/s DDoS attacks.

You may ask yourself, why are we running the same MPOS template as other pools, well simply put we do not have the time to commit into a template right now, our main focus is on keeping our stratum server constantly up and available rather than fancy graphs.

We are not protected by Cloudflare or any cheap proxy, our IP alone is protected rather than just the front end of our website.

We plan on bringing up a Europe DDoS proof stratum as soon as possible but unfortunately in Europe DDoS protection is unheard of or very expensive indeed.

Once you have registered an account with us, and setup the workers. Please use the configuration below:
US DDoS Protected Node: stratum+tcp://jack.utcpool.com:3333
EU DDoS Protected Node: coming soon…"
