We would like to announce that the tests at utc multipool have been carried out successfully and we are out of test mode.


Apologies that tests lasted longer than we expected but it is because of the low hashrate and we needed to wait longer to find blocks.

Now we want to increase the profitability of UTC multipool and the value of UTC coin but it is all up to your hashes.

If you have ASIC's for SHA 256 , please point them at the multipool so that we will be able to mine the most profitable coin at the moment, which is BTC (but mining of BTC needs a legion of hashes )

Miners with GPU's -> do not join mining SHA  because it isn't profitable for you. Mine script coins instead.


Someone asked about the frequency of payouts:
on average ot will be once in 24 hours; but at high hashrate it may be more often

Someone asked where we trade:
at various exchanges

Time of buying UTC:
various - this is to avoid manipulation of the price

yes, Polo is a big problem. Their data is so bad half the time. I need to think through how to make this a little more rigid. I also need to think through the timing, it checks every minute. Should that slow down? Should it continue to show the same arb opp each minute as long as its over 5? Your opinions would be helpful.

Can the server take the load?

Tweets should be sent less frequently, say once an hour?

If people want to do arbing they visit the site and keep an eye on it. The site itself should update as fast as possible and make sure the amounts available at each price range (both buy and sell side) are visible.

It would suck to buy into 3000 asiacoins to find there's only one buy order for 300 at the other exchange.
Right now I would need to change the amount of coins and hit update. (and that might cost me money if the orders change)
Maybe calculate the sweetspot in coin amount to gain the most from the trade?

For example, if I buy 3000 asiacoins, I can sell 2000 5% higher and 1000 2% higher, vs buying 2000 only and selling them 5% higher.
How would that work? A coin amount suggestion box would be really nice.

Well, first off, the server is fine. I believe the client updates every 10 seconds, so the data is probably as fast as it can be, I doubt if there is any other place that gives you such a comprehensive view of as many coins on as many exchanges at one time.

The twitter bot piece is a conundrum. If you aren't on ultra-arb, you don't know about opportunities. The twitter bot kind of solves that. But twitter is so limiting about how much info you can provide. And if you only send tweets once an hour, they are pretty worthless, because things change so quickly.

Right now you can change the # of coins on ultra-arb. What I'm working on now is called Coin360 (this was going to be a surprise, but so many people are asking for more information that I figured what the heck). On this page, you will be able to select a coin, enter a number of coins, and see a full view of arb opps across exchanges, along with the order book to help you assess if your trade will be supported. Let me know what you think...

Oh and about the coin suggestion box - this is the sort of thing we were hoping to wrap into our premium model. I'll keep you updated on that.

Like i say eariel the miners who searching the most profitable coin to mine and that was UTC, just dumping day by day all what he have.
They don't care about bright future any coin or the real value , just sell sell and sell when price little increase, simply daytraders. 

I see it on network hashrate now is decreasing, they go mining and dump more profitable coins for today, and thats is great for me.

Now mining loyal miners who believe in future utc and nobody who have brain, don't sell that low when block change was from 50 to 15 utc.

UTC now is really hard to get, and i think a lot of miners understand that, and they don't wont sell that low price.

The last easy mined UTC feeding now whales, price will stabilize soon , then steady grow and moon. I'm sure by that.

Value drop?  Think about it.  

UTC doesn't have too much volume or a value moving fast enough to attract the day trader.  Those who invested in UTC for the short term just pulled out to hop on one of the many other pump trains going on.  When they make their extra BTC, some will come back into UTC, until another crypto starts moving again.  I notice that all of the long term investment coins quickly drop when bogus altcoins start to rise rapidly.  This is like dumb people tapping into their savings account be cause they don't have any other cash on hand.  

So the price drop is not confusing, actually it adds up.  If you have faith, keep buying the cheap desperate sells by these people.  They don't even think about losing 20% right now because they think they are going to make 50% on the NameYourCoin pump in an hour.  This is great if you look at that way!
