At this time I think we need to increase the hashrate of the multipool, not only to create buy pressure but to establish that UTC has a very active and successful multipool already working.

If you're happy with our work on AsiaCoin revival, please consider giving us trust feedback and provide donations to the new AsiaCoin Foundation.

You were to receive 4 times less than 15 award for UTC block? Ohhh it's tempting Smiley))

One gets the impression that some people do not watch that that is mined.

reward for block reduced from 50 UTC to 15 UTC

Personally as an investor and not a miner I would like more info about POS.

I have 100k UTC and don't know if;

*   I can move them around different wallets
*   Have to always have my laptop on to achieve POS
*   If I have to always be connected and have a powercut do I lose my POS, if that's the case whats my incentive not to dump it all once i make a profit?
*   When I can qualify for POS as I didn't get all 100k UTC at the same time etc etc etc

I'm only asking as I don't know. I am not going to be dumping, but I hope I ask serious questions others are unsure of also.

Great questions, I too am interested in the answers.

Agreed funsponge. I've been meaning to research the subject but have been busy with work and family.
I'm curious as well as I've already proposed the idea that a rechargeable independent mobile UTC wifi-device be created, that would allow for POS to be fully utilized.
I'm in Panama City, Florida, USA. Currently, have a bad weather system overhead and have had power go out to my computer multiple times while at work. And I worry that a UTC POS phone app could potentially pull too much power on a phone to be rational - maybe I'm wrong though? Thus I think an independent rechargeable mobile device could be the future?
...Just my thoughts.
POS is still a mystery to me, but I will finally get some free time this weekend from work and family to learn about my 50k investment that I will hold onto.

@ Untalented - thanks for the link, that's a good start for me!

Cheers!

The exchanges are full of people eating up new and trendy cryptos.  Why?  NEWS.  Good news in any form means value increase.  I'm watching this all day.  As long as there is promising news, the value rises.  When good news stops or there is no word from the devs, the price stagnates and then slowly begins to drop.  I am on nearly every exchange and monitoring all coins.  This is the most apparent explanation for all price increases, decreases, or stability.  Pick a coin and go mirror the value with the news and you will find this to be true.

Now, how do we maintain a steady stream of good news for UTC?  I believe that is the recipe for continued growth.  Not to mention it is exponential, because value increase on its own is good news to many.  Please give this some thought guys.  We need to create constant good news stories UTC.  That is the goal now, in my humble opinion.  If you think I am wrong, please feel free to tell me so, but I will simply ask you to compare recent UTC news with the charts.  It is clearly evident.

Agreed! And UTC's features are growing at a level that is mind blowing to the average basic scrypt alt where they are just waiting to see the next rise in BTC to increase their value. UTC is rising now, and at least holding in-between, while BTC is getting eaten by the bears!!

It says a lot about a coin. Litecoin can still only dream about that day!!!;D

Granted, in the next 5 to 20 days the BTC bull's are close to overcoming the bears and create a new rally/trend out of the decending triangle that has been hitting hard the BTC market and killing the basic scrypt alt coins - but not UTC!!!
https://www.tradingview.com/v/YjkJ7N1b/
See main website for multiple confirmations that BTC is about to jump

UTC is already a notch ahead as they are defying current bearish BTC gravity!!! So when that short term time comes, UTC will soar like a rocket and will blow away the basic alt coins that are doing nothing in terms of innovation!!

Cheers, Dev's!
 You guys rock!!

Hello all,

I just wanted to chime in and let everyone know about the upgrades to http://ultra.leetpools.com

We have completed a server migration, upgraded the MPOS platform, and are on a completely new stratum running on Node.js. This node.js stratum is designed to be a high-efficiency and high performance stratum that was build from the ground up. The server now streams hashrate and worker data correctly (no more spamming refresh) and we are hoping this new stratum and server migration will help alleviate some of the issues.

The server is lightning fast and is begging for some hashes Smiley

We also have a fuck-ton of coins that the USERS have left in the wallet. PLEASE come withdraw your coins!!!

http://ultra.leetpools.com

We hope you enjoy the new pool.

Thanks.

Has the super slow wallet issue been fixed?

still an issue as far as I can tell... making me worried about my coins... not to mention it drains my battery if I open it.

...not even sure if this is being acknowledged as an issue  Huh

Hi guys - we posted an update either earlier today or last night (I honestly don't remember which) - the wallet is being fixed as we speak. The leveldb fix is required to take care of the loading issue and this has turned out to be a larger job than expected. As soon as we get an eta from the devs it will be posted here.

For the record, I am not aware that anyone has had a problem with their coins being safe. But I do acknowledge that the wallet, as it is today, is unacceptable. This WILL be fixed.
