just a crazy idea, but how about having a mascot? "Ultraman" he sounds like a super hero! We could use it to advertise? Do we have any cartoonists? Other than Doge no other coin is doing anything along those lines so could be something unique

could we make that #1 priory for the community to do. Tell the miners to move to UTC. Where are the best places to do this? Could we buy ad space on coinwarz etc etc or chat in mining forums? I will do my best to help. These miners looking at migrating are essential for UTC to rise into coinmarketcap top 10

The Flower Technology ASIC is now capable of mining Scrypt-N, up to N=16384 in addition to Scrypt proof-of-work coins. This will future-proof your purchase for expanded mining options and increased versatility. Examples of Scrypt-based coins you can mine with our machines includes Litecoin, Dogecoin, Isracoin, Auroracoin, Feathercoin, while examples of Scrypt-N coins you can mine with our machines includes Vertcoin, execoin, GPUcoin, CaiShen and PANDANOT ultracoin

Yup, you'd need a scrypt-chacha purpose built ASIC for that...just add lookup-gap to halve memory requirements and voila, scrypt-n asic. (and 1/4 the normal scrypt performance) But it needs to be built from the ground up with that feature, I'm not sure about that, sounds more like a scam.

Can anyone (preferable bumface) explain to me why this Flowertech Scrypt-N Miner isn't capable of mining UTC? I need some tech facts / good background information about it, because I want to contact coindesk and ask them to write an article about the future of GPU mining..

Why is this good news? No miner will mine coin that is not profitable. More miners -> more coins, more coins -> bigger supply. Who will buy all this coins when there's no demand at all? Maybe that's stupid but that is how I understand all this.

the short answer is : the memory requirement is to high. Ultracoin and X11 are amongst the few coins that are asic resistant.many miners will have to stop mining LTC and other popular scrypt coins soon, we will catch the fallout hopefully

That's funny. Again, I decided to join the production UTC. Went to the pool and looked at data on complexity
Current Difficulty 0.47212016 Est. Next Difficulty 0.39065575 (Change in 27 Blocks)
Including its 370kN / s and immediately saw the change on
Current Difficulty 0.47212016 Est. Next Difficulty 0.47066675 (Change in 27 Blocks)
Do my 370kN / s so will affect the future complexity?.

Judging by the fact that all popular algorithms sooner or later produced ASIC to release them under the script chacha matter of time.

Judging by the fact that all popular algorithms sooner or later produced ASIC to release them under the script chacha matter of time. But utc and yac, amongst others keep changing the n factor, neutralizing ASICs built to mine lower n factors, faster than they can adapt, profitably. That's why you don't slow down n factor changes.

Judging by the fact that all popular algorithms sooner or later produced ASIC to release them under the script chacha matter of time. there are not enough chacha coins to justify a 10 million dollar asic developement investment, we will just have to make Ultracoin 100 dollar to justify it
