@Funsponge and @Uggle .... here are some wise quotes for you to learn about (with al do respect to the both of you) ; ..........One thing this world has taught me, patience! Stop looking for someone to blame, and instead, ask yourselves, how can I help?
For those of you who sit on the sidelines and watch, wait, and critique the actions of the UTC Team, I encourage you to remember that this is a new frontier, and regardless of how the UTC Team tries to advance this crytpocurrency, never overlook the fact that they are taking the time and putting forth that effort. Never take for granted or under-appreciate the value of the determined and committed few.
I have taken Cryptoholic11 words from another thread but they are relevant so want to share them with you all;
------------
" As investor in this coin, I have say this, and it might not sit well with a few people but oh well. With an ever increasing competitive altcoin scene, its imperative that development stays fast and updates remain frequent.
Why: because when devs stay silent, even if they are legit, the price and volume tank. And the more they tank, the harder it is to rebound, regardless of future releases. So protecting the price and volume through constant updates is extremely necessary especially in the beginning phases. So I would urge devs to give updates more frequently, and be more specific and less vague. And anybody who wants to argue that Microsoft took 10 years to develop windows, should re-evaluate that argument. Cryptos (for now at least) work much differently, and even a week of inactivity would spell disaster.
People always want to dump their holdings and go catch the flavor of the week. In order to stay ahead of the curve, frequent updates, and more importantly a speedy development while keeping the community and investors informed during the process is important. This will keep the volume and price stable, which is important. I cant stress that enough. Yea some hype could be considered unethical, but in the current altcoin scene, its necessary to keep the exposure. Some developers go their way with developing the features, and stay quiet, killing the price and volume. And when they do finally release it, the coin barely sees any movement, because they never established themselves as a major coin to begin with. Only established altcoin devs can stay quiet for a reasonable long period of time without suffering the consequences. Examples of these established alts would be DRK, XC, VRC, CLOAK. All other alts are fucked if the devs are not constantly active and steadfast."
------------
Im not saying your new Devs are dead quiet but wanted to stress the importance of daily activity and involvement
+1

@Funsponge One way we are keeping people up to date is with our daily posts on social media, users should see that we are an active coin and we always post our progress, such as success with acceptance or project releases. Now I think you are completely correct about posting more developments updates and plans for the future, which is exactly why I posted the marketing strategy. I felt that the community should know what our current plans are, as I know, there are members here who have their life savings invested into Ultracoin and place a tremendous amount of attention on the development team for updates on their investment. While I am managing multi-million dollar businesses at my day job, I take that same level of personal responsibility into my work with Ultracoin. I will keep the community updated on what is going on in marketing, which I believe is a good step moving forward as it keeps investors up to date and potential investors interested. However, I firmly believe that actions speak louder than words, and that results are more important than updates, which is why my main priority is getting projects done and creating winning strategies. As a decentralized coin, if there is anything you as community members are working on personally, let me know so I can update it to our plan and keep the community posted. With that said, I will keep the community up to date on developments and strategies and am always accepting inquiries at steven@ultracoin.net. Ultracoin Still mineable?
I tried mining this Ultracoin with both my CPU and GPU - the Stratum Connection to the ultrapools.info is Working but I dont see any shares submitted. All I see is "Stratum detected new block"
CPU Miner: minerd-yacoin_stratum_x64_2_4_0 Specs: AMD FX 4130 Quad-Core Processor @ 3.80GHz
GPU Miner: Ultracoinminer (On the GPU miner I get HWs a lot). Specs: 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7970
I have tried all the settings for the GPU with no success. The CPU hash fine but only show "Stratum detected new Block" and NO shares are being submitted. I need help if someone has a Solution. Thanks!

In my opinion the Ultracoinminer does not work well, always gave hw errors. Switch to yacminer for gpu and use the config generator for settings. https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMinerhttp://ultracoin.net/configgen_raw.html
