to the contrary with a 4k buy wall at .012 we may well see if those .013 sellers really do want to sell Lets not quote the trolls. I'm all about playing with our friends on polo. lol. Thats partly my wall on there....and there is more ammunition if needed. Miami was an amazing success. Evolution as a crypto PayPal competitor is going to be awesome. Well, trolls are trolls with their own agenda but he may actually have a point here. With Evolution being years from completion there're no major news or updates in sight, as far as I see. So this might be the highest price we'll see this year. Also any other high volume action like ETH draws BTC from DASH market. Evan has said Evolution is about a year or so away, not years. But yes, you are correct in terms of software updates. Consider, however, that the Lamassu integration announcement spiked the price by 20%. If the team was able to make additional contacts at Miami, and these contacts bear fruit, then similar announcements could bring similar price increases.

Evan Duffield has said 1 to 1.5 years until completion numerous times now.
"Completion" doesn't mean there will be zero updates in the meantime. The huge amount of new features can only be released bit by bit. The prototype for example shown in the demo was working today, not in 1 year. Plus DASH is a massive improvement over most cryptocurrencies in it's current state already. Trolls actually admitted they love and envy the technology so much they wanna steal it and start "DASH Classic" LOL. Good luck, losers

So what are the planned improvements in Dash Classic (not originality for sure), change the collateral requirement? hmmm no difficulty adjustment bug in the first 48 hours? Maybe a 4th tier with things or some integration with established BTC ATM machines... oh wait!!! Losers!!!

I'm just saying that aside from the legal issue of the license permitting it (since legality does not necessarily define morality) you can't morally base your project on being a fork of another code base and then claim "stealing" when someone else does the same thing. It's bogus at the core.

"steal" cannot be applied to an open source project fork... but if made with the intention of changing just a couple of parameters and launch in this small cryptoland, it's called a scam!

In software engineering, a project fork happens when developers take a copy of source code from one software package and start independent development on it, creating a distinct and separate piece of software. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fork_%28software_development%29The troll didn't even bother to change the config files from "dash" to "dashclassic". So yeah: "Stealing" can apply even in opensource software. Namely simply cloning the repo and slapping your own name on it with zero own development and almost zero distinction from the original codebase. In any case: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery& Envy is the highest form of recognitionSo trolltards owned themselves. Thanks, losers.

... they love and envy the technology so much they wanna steal it and start "DASH Classic" LOL. Good luck, losers Just for future reference, some of the good stuff in evolution was discussed elsewhere in a reasonably similar context, before the evolution paper. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/19djUkzO04BhgKrh4VURFC55bI8zvo8qspSmWhJPuXrY/edit#slide=id.pNot wishing to diminish the work being done on Evolution, though. Not in the least. It's all good. And it's all Open Source.

There is nothing launched yet as far as I know. If and when anything is launched and goes forward, we'll be able to see how much is changed. The original Xcoin fork (before any work was done) didn't change anything from LTC either. That's what happens when you press the fork button to get started. All of its code was just forking the results of 2 years of LTC development, 4 years of public BTC development (or whatever portion of that had been merged with LTC) and 2-3 years of private BTC development. Even by launch there were few changes (hash function, rewards, and difficulty). That's always how forks are created. Some then thrive, some don't.

"steal" cannot be applied to an open source project fork... but if made with the intention of changing just a couple of parameters and launch in this small cryptoland, it's called a scam! Relaunches to fix distribution are not always a scam. LTC was just such a fork. But of course there will always be someone calling them that, such as Luke-Jr (and I'm sure others) consistently calling LTC a scam. I guess the jury is still out on forks that fix organizational/development control issues such as Bitcoin Classic. At its inception Xcoin just tweaked parameters and changed the hashing function, which is typical of shitcoin clones. Any substantial development came later which means if you don't consider Dash such a scam based on having done development, you can't even judge until some time has passed to see how things work out.

Its a non-issue, IMO.
Crypto vs. Visa/MasterCard/PayPal/etc. That should be the goal. Anything else is just bickering because you can't get a seat at the big table.

ETA 3 days (27th) till launch of Dash Classic by our well known troll iCEBREAKER
* Will they manage to launch it without any of them having one shred of coding experience ? * Will they really set the collateral for masternodes to just 1 Dash ? * Will they find people willing to invest in it ? * Will they find pools, miners and exchanges in time ? * Will they launch with an official Windows wallet ? (pref somewhere within a time period of two years this time) * Will they uncensure their ANN thread ? Tension is rising, i'm not sure i can sleep tonight or the other nights till launch I do have a small suggestion : please change the name of your coin from Dash Classic to Dash Trollic. its much more fitting

Bitcoin Core Dev confirms actual number of Bitcoin full nodes up 100% of the time are actually ~2,300 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWeIEFBrItE&feature=youtu.be&t=11m0sWhen you consider the numbers of businesses that run full nodes for things like AML, the Bitcoin network has ~1,300 fewer full time nodes that Dash, in addition to unfortunately having a very high sybil problem. This is actually very bad news for crypto. Anyone care to validate?
