Dash is keep advancing steadily while majority is busy with speculative markets. What I liked most this time since start of this trend beginning from the year there have been many rounds of correction and accumulation. This is the thing which will be helpful to sustain all the gain.

Bitcoin Passes $40 Average Fees, Sees Exodus to Bitcoin Cash, Dash

Bitcoin’s average fee approaches $42 as users flee to other chains.

Cryptocurrency has seen an incredible rise over the last month, growing from a collective market cap of $243 billion to $625 billion at present. Much of this flowed into Bitcoin, which reached an all-time high of over $20,000 and a market dominance percentage of 67.55% in early December. Over the next two weeks, however, that price has fallen to $16,285 and its market dominance now ranks at 43.9% while the net market cap of cryptocurrency has continued its rise unabated.

Average fees have risen across the board, with Dash and Bitcoin Cash remaining lowest

Just to remind people that this isn't just vaporware, as many projects. When people ask me why is Dash a good investment, I give them this 5 reasons:
- It uses the same core as Bitcoin, so it can be easily implemented in any bitcoin platform.
- You can send funds anonymously, but only if you want to (not mandatory like Monero).
- 5 confirmations lock you any transfer in seconds.
- Cheap transaction fees, allowing every day usage.
- Big budget for projects and development.
- You can earn passive income from the second network layer (masternodes)

For the second day watch on the stock exchanges of active and stable growth of the coin. Now very much regret that in due time did not buy power in cloud mining.

Dash Earns Mainstream Media Mentions As Cryptocurrency Adoption Grows

Dash has been mentioned several times in mainstream media recently, indicating that cryptocurrency may be primed for mass adoption.

Of the few recent media mentions, the most stark was a recent segment on Fox Business where Jordan Belfort of Wolf of Wall Street fame decries Bitcoin as a bubble, while actor Stephen Baldwin, proudly wearing a Dash shirt, pitches the opposite:

I think 700 to 800 is reasonable... Maybe even 500 or 600...but at that price a lot of us would be in the game to buy more. Let's see

Oh those boats have already left the ports. The price is not just a comparison of Dash vs Bitcoin, but more of why Dash seems to exceed where the other cryptos fail, and how Dash is aiming on becoming more mainstream to the average user.

Who can justify a $40 dollar transaction fee.... that's not the way to become a currency for the people.
When using a cryptocurrency is just as cheap and easy as sending an email, the price for Dash will not be anywhere $500-800 I'm afraid.  Cheesy

I don't get the americans. Does this work over there? One so obvious advertising a product (Dash) that it is more comical and funny because it looks so out of place and staged. It is comical I agree but because it is so wired the way it is done.

Alec Baldwin is cool. Like the guy acting as Trump.

I found this on the webz:

How much is it atm for a masternode?

Not changed, still 1000 Dash.

https://dash-news.de/dashtv/#curr=USD&value=1000

That picture looks old, where did you find it ?

What this picture shows is if Dash is ever in urgent need of upscaling it could lower the amount required to run a masternode and then see a large increase in :
number of masternodes, netwerk storage (Dashdrive i assume) and network transaction processing power ....

Thanks for clearing that up, got the picture from an old reddit post about Dash's transactions per second; https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/5yw0yy/how_many_transactions_per_second_can_dash_handle/

It had me confused for a while and couldn't instantly find the current requirement.
