Due to the increased unusabilty of Bitcoin for regular transactions I now completly switched my transaction base to DASH.
I know most of you did that step month or even years ago already but I am not one that quickly changes old behaviours and so far Bitcoin was the de facto standard base for everything and as long as it was working alright there was no real incentive to switch.
With Bitcoin stuck in a dead end with the 1 MByte Block Size I wonder where it is heading now. If they don't do measurements to counter the growing transaction costs and blockade in the next coming weeks and months through what means ever then I think that we will witness real movements toward Cash focused coins like DASH and BCH.
There is only so much ppl are willing to bear with.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Dash has reached this far as successful coin with vast community and larger adoption around the globe. Future is looking very good for time tested coins to be among very few in coming years as only remaining in the blockchain based financial ecosystem and Dash will be there.

Explaining Bitcoins Problems To My 6 Year Old Niece An allegory for Bitcoin and Dash as told to a small child
For Bitcoiners waiting at the bus stop for the Bitcoin bus to arrive, you’re going to be disappointed. I hope you brought a coat and umbrella with you as I’ve got bad news: you’re going to be walking home again today, frustrated it isn’t going to arrive in time. You sat there and watched buses pass all day while you waited, but they’re already full up to maximum capacity, and already have destinations to reach.A thumbs up for the humoristic and easy to grasp bus article! On to the Dash express we go

ok
So I only just realised, but Jaxx, Coinomi and Exodus are not open source but seem to be advertised by DASH as secure.
What are options apart from dash core for a fully open source light client.
Jaxx and Ex could at any point put in malicious code, eg if a court orders them to and gags them.

Also Having looked at some wallets a few things electrum seems to have no insta send function the insta send in the dash core is a little tick box....I would have a big fat button working out the costs is well back in kb, and then working out my costs etc ... can you make this more normie No insta send in jaxx of coinomi. the transaction fees were higher than I expect in Jaxx....it was 8.6 US Cents or 0.0002 DASH. this is way higher than I had thought it would be I thought is was going to be a fraction of a Cent...... can you put somewhere again a normie style transaction costs for each wallet. I mean you have x million a month in funding and I thought maybe you could afford to make it a wee bit more transparent. They hype is all insta send but the implementation is obscure.....and seems to be much more costly than I got a vibe for. seems to be discussed here https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/the-costs-to-use-dash.13831/

Decentralization and Centralization: Can They Get Along? What’s one word you can throw around that’s sure to give you some cryptocurrency cred? Decentralization. In fact, the highest praise you can give a cryptocurrency project is that it’s “decentralized,” and the worst insult is that it’s “centralized.” The word decentralized conjures up images of a hoard of volunteers working hard, resolving their disputes amicably, and coming together for the common good. Centralized, on the other hand, invokes images of evil elites keeping people under their thumb and ruling the world as they see fit.

Dash Proposal Review Video Series Funded The Dash network has funded a team to perform detailed evaluations of upcoming proposals before the network as Dash’s governance system matures.
The Mason brothers, a pair of YouTubers with a strong history and interest in cryptocurrency, previously created videos reviewing upcoming Dash proposals. Amid greater demand to assist the masternodes in making informed and educated choices about the proposals they support, they decided to put in their own proposal to evaluate other proposals on their potential merits. The proposal passed with a wide margin and was funded.

What will change the rules of the game are the investments. Today we talks about BTC going to the financial market. Over-there people invest X amount and don't worry about the transaction issues with BTC, they see it as long term option. When DASH join the portfolio or product that many hedge fund and investments companies you will see only then a fair amount of cash put into this project and why not an increase by another 1000%

where is all the funding money going?
I really thought the wallets would be better with this much funding. Funding model is good, but the spending side in dev better wallets is really not good.
Kinda disappointed
I mean nem nano, Lsk nano, and vcash are some good examples of slick wallets. Particularly with vcash considering its smaller market cap

The fastest way to lose money, is to listen to people that present their personal assumptions as facts Learn from the past, set detailed and vivid goals for the future and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control : now

Dash Is Getting Much More Complex Treasury Proposals I am a regular reader (and sometime troll) of the Dash.org forum pre-proposal threads. Since the monthly budget has gotten to be well over $1,000,000 I am seeing some pretty complex pre-proposals being submitted. While I am not a masternode owner and don’t have a vote I do follow them as part of my “beat” for Dash Force News. There are right now a number of very complex submissions that to intelligently review or vote on would take a good bit of research.

Hi you can follow where the funding goes here:- https://www.dashcentral.org/budgethttps://www.dash.org/forum/topic/pre-budget-proposal-discussions.93/Please define what you mean by "slick wallets" as I am unfamiliar with the wallets you mentioned,,, are we talking about how the wallet look's on your screen maybe or the functions the wallet is capable of performing.. the second of the two can be found here:- https://www.dash.org/forum/categories/dash-guides.85/
