Craig Wright indicated a friendly competition between Dash and Bitcoin Cash as both seek to replace Bitcoin’s vacant throne as king of digital cash payments.

Despite Setbacks, Dash Morocco Team Pushes on With Dash Education in Arabic

Dash has funded a promotional team in Morocco to educate the Arabic-speaking world, which will continue on despite an early setback.

The Dash Morocco team, run by members Ilyass and Osama, was created with treasury funding to spread awareness and adoption of Dash in the Arabic world, starting with Morocco. This is to be achieved through hosting meetups and swag giveaways, as well as creating an Arabic-language video series similar to Dash School created by Amanda B. Johnson. According to Ilyass, Arabic countries have a high interest in cryptocurrencies, though most remain only aware of Bitcoin:

as Dash channels exist now that do the job far better (Slack / Reddit).

One very useful proposal funded by the Dash Treasury is a contract with Bugcrowd to point their “researchers” at Dash for the next year.  This program funds a large crowd of white hat hackers to review the Dash codebase for any bugs. You can visit the bugcrowd website and get involved.

It means that one of Dash's original design priorities is being met, which was to reconcile technology objectives (incentivising the growth of the network infrastructure) with monetary objectives (making Dash a better store of value than bitcoin).
