Review of Dash Budget Proposals from October 2016

For the past several months I have been reviewing the batch of proposals that get funded for the current month this has lead me to the idea to go back a year and look at the proposals from October 2016.

For me using tools like Dash Ninja it is harder to get the full picture since previous to March of this year proposals were paid in individual blocks where now each months proposal payments are in one block which is easier to track.  I bring that up because I may have missed something.

Wow.  This Lack Of Progress Report indicates Dash Evolution is a bigger mess and a more embarrassing scandal than even Tezos.

An entire year wasted producing nothing of value.  While Dash Core lied and pretended the secrecy/silence was to keep (nonexistent vaporware) code safe from competition.  What a cover-up.

Now the same failing people want to keep getting paid to redo the Evolution design over and over again.

Cardano and Decred's stake-based governance models are leaving Dash's behind in their dust, just as atomic swaps, Lightning, and Bcash make InstantSend-free Dash's claim to be "digital cash" the punchline to the joke Dash has become.

So much for the cheerleading and pumping and "our vaporware is the best vaporware" snake oil marketing.

No wonder the once-vibrant and cocky DashHole community is silent on all public channels.  BTCT is a ghost town; ditto /r/dashpay and forum.dash.org.

Nobody wants to own this failure; it's an orphan.  Thus, we begin to see how Dash's fragile centralized structure cannot handle accountability, as the brittle astro-turfed community fragments and the era of mutual recriminations begins.

Once these extinctions pressures overwhelm Dash's long-term pump an inflection point is reached and this instamined scam coin's fate is sealed.

well from my point of view its in the same league as eth and zcash, you can see from the price alone,
eth and dash have important updates incomming and only future will tell which will emerge as the winner.
i wouldnt be surpriced if eth wants masternodes or something simliar (like mastersmartcontacts) sooner or later too.

I concur, they are probably many of the older holders following here. Personally I find it easier to read up on the news being published here by the devs and Dash Force team as I cannot follow all of whats happening over in the new Discord channel. Since I am a BTCtalk regular it helps to keep a tab open for our beloved Dash thread

The trolls come and go, but they help in their own peculiar way.
