Dash Documentary Production Receives Green Light

The Dash network has funded the production of a Dash documentary.

In a recent budget proposal passed 923 Yes / 364 No / 22 Abstain, a trio of filmmakers has received funding from the Dash network to create the first feature-length documentary dedicated specifically to Dash, the first of its kind not focused on Bitcoin. The project aims to find similar outreach success to that of previous documentaries such as the Rise and Rise of Bitcoin and Banking on Bitcoin, only with a Dash focus, because its team believes that “Dash is one of the few digital currencies that actually cares about regular people.”

According to the documentary’s team, the timing is perfect for the filming of a Dash documentary, with next year as a crucial year when cryptocurrencies reach the mainstream:

what airdrop? Dash is nothing to do with airdrop.

Sentinel is still 1.1.0, no updates there for now.
(to verify your installation run "git tag" in sentinel folder and make sure it has 1.1.0 in the list)

Huobi Rolls Out Multi-Stage Contest to Incentivize Dash Trading

Huobi has announced a four-part incentivization contest to promote the use and trading of Dash.

The Chinese cryptocurrency exchange is currently ranked in the top ten by volume with $937 million over the last 24 hours. In November Huobi announced the addition of Dash trading to the platform. Earlier this month, the exchange submitted a proposal to the Dash network to fund the giveaway of 1,000 Dash to its users in order to incentivize trading.

Dash Funds Full Integration Into All General Bytes ATMs and CortexPay Point-of-Sale

Dash has funded a comprehensive integration into the General Bytes offerings, including a power point-of-sale system, all ATMs including two-way, and NFC contactless wallet cards.

The proposal, submitted by escrow service Green Candle, funds a complete integration into General Bytes’ product lineup. This includes two-way service for Dash, allowing customers to both buy and sell Dash at select ATM models (presently this two-way functionality is only available for Bitcoin and Litecoin), and will also enable the use of Dash’s InstantSend instant confirmation functionality.

According to Jeff Smith, Green Candle’s co-founder, the added functionality to two-way ATMs can leverage a truly cashless experience for Dash users:

There seems to be a problem with the new release v0.12.2.2 for OSX. It's giving me this error message “Dash-Core” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found. Any fixes?
