Right folks. Get tweeting about that bitcoin machine. Now's the chance with a captive audience. Big things start small. Dash needs new audiences and Bitcoin is the only front door right now.

TinyURL = http://tinyurl.com/ochakml

PRIMARY TARGETS:

#OXI #Grexit #greferendum #AlexisTsiprasn #Greece #Syntagma

P.S. If the whole of bitcointalk could get round a single tweet on all of those hashtags, it would possibly float for a while and get increidible exposure worldwide. All the world's press are on those feeds right now.

Did someone say "Tweet'? I'm on it:

v0.12.0.x Miners Needed!

The blockchain got stuck earlier today on testnet because we literally don't have enough miners. Can we get some miners over here please? Thanks!

Throw it out and start over using Mixles' CT + mini-blockchain paper.

Anything is possible, as people can start suggesting projects that will get funding (tens of thousands of dollars every month). And if you suggest CT+mini-blockchain and get enough masternode owners to vote for it it will happen.

Hello,

Following a review of your Coinbase account, it appears that you are likely violating the Coinbase User Agreement by reselling your bitcoin through services such as LocalBitcoins, Craigslist, Ebay, etc.

Please see: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1905681-localbitcoins-and-coinbaseFinCEN guidance states that “a person is an exchanger and a money transmitter if the person accepts such de-centralized convertible virtual currency from one person and transmits it to another person as part of the acceptance and transfer of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency.” As such, accepting bitcoin from Coinbase and then re-selling to another person is considered money transmission per FinCEN.

Money transmission is an inherently high-risk business and is heavily regulated. Coinbase has elected to not facilitate money transmission activities via these services. In order to continue using Coinbase, you will need to deactivate your account with these services within 10 days.

Additionally, your purchase and sell limits will be lowered to $200/day. However, if you can sufficiently demonstrate that your daily limit needs for transactions unrelated to money transmission exceed this amount, then we can raise your limits accordingly.

You may also request a limit increase after 90 days by emailing support@coinbase.com if you have not engaged in any further money transmission activities via these services.Thank you for understanding.

Regards,
Coinbase Compliance

I don't even use LocalBitcoins, Craigslist, Ebay, etc. for crypto, most of the coins that I've bought the last two weeks have yet to clear, topped $10k is I guess what triggered this BS.

Bitcoin ATMs going up in Greece.

People can use these when the Drachma comes in to arrest the devaluation of their personal funds. Also a great way to bypass capital controls.

Lets see if Mr Yanis has got as much guts as the Chinese to stop them.  http://yanisvaroufakis.eu/2013/04/22/bitcoin-and-the-dangerous-fantasy-of-apolitical-money/

I read that, Tok, but the guy doesn't seem to understand how Bitcoin works, talking about the security of the algorithms?  The algorithms are simply something to solve.  It's security is in the speed of solving those algos being a speed that isn't so high that there is no competition to solve them, thus giving someone more than 51% likelihood of solving them one after the other.

As far as deflation goes, I don't see a problem because I believe that there will be other units of currency that will function as a pressure release valve.  Bitcoin isn't all that useful for day to day transactions, it's too expensive to use.  Like, I  believe you said, it'll be used most likely between banks to settle accounts, big money.

Anyway, the rest of his blurb is myopic and ignores so many factors, it's not worth going over.

Hello,

Yes, we suck.

Regards,
Coinbase Compliance

I feel for you.  Back in the day, I had to sell some BTC to pay the factory to fabricate ASIC miners.  Coinbase fucked me over.  I spent a few hours finding them, knocked on the door, and convinced them to give me my money or else.  They saw the light and I walked out with a company check.  I'll never deal with them again.

Ugh, we need to break away from fiat period.  Coinbase is ridiculous (well, I should say the regulations are)

I know. He's a bit clueless when it come to that.

All base money is basically deflationary by definition. The fiat system only hides that fact by deploying what is essentially a derivative - the fractional multiplier - to reflect new lending.

You can do that just as easily with cryto. Bitshares does it.

I suspect you're transactions are being linked around your vanity gen (1otohotoh....) which is linked to your addie.cc details.

If you had triggered a high value check, they probably would have said that and not been as specific as to suggest you're buying / selling coins:

Ah thanks, that makes sense, though I haven't actually sold any like that for well over two years now, I can see why they think that I may do so, like anyway it's any of their business wtf I do with my coins after I've bought them anyway.

Thanks again for showing what I naively thought would be no one else's business.

maybe im wrong but...if you have a project worth lets say $20k (roughly 80 btc worth or 8000dash) every month doesnt that mean alot of dash has to be dumped for fiat before/during or after the completion of the project. Not very good for dash price ( if dash price drops then next project will dump even more dash to make $20k), unless its an awesome project delivered on time and budget. I hope this doesnt become become the bitpay problem - the fiat leak, that btc has.

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

I'm not normally someone that makes a sweeping judgemental statement about someone's looks, but I can't help thinking Brian Armstrong has a smugness about him that makes him the poster-child of sheer stupidity and bloody mindedness determined to ruin what crypto represents and drag it down into guv-stoog banality. I have about as much desire to use Coinbase as I do to buy Ripple.

It's widely believed they are tracing transactions through at least two hops, maybe more. So all it could take is you buying the coins, using them in a transaction, and then the recipient of that transaction selling them on LBC.
