Ooh, what's that in kilometers? It's a nice touch on dashtalk.org that, ignore doesn't just hide the text and leave the fact they posted visible (and that show/hid button that you just can't stop yourself with sometimes), it removes all signs of their existence, even posts where they've been quoted (I think). A much more advanced forum than this place and it'd be nice to leave the trolls here to fester in their own bile and just use this thread for updates and announcements, this might be a hub in the cryptocurrency ecosystem but the impression it gives new users is questionable and dashtalk.org is reasonably active, Dash is unlikely to need a high profile here to gain awarenesses shortly. I know, it's so cool! I did ignore one person recently, and wondered if they left or were wiped out? LOL. It was great!

I'm addicted to the scrolling/run on style of bitcointalk.org...I wish we could implement that on dashtalk and I'd leave this he'll holehole! Edit: And I agree that then we could just use this for announcements and updates.

i wonder what decentralized oracle and decentralized storage means ? is that mean that dash will soon able to do what ethereum and storj promised ? and how the storing and rewarding to the storage provider happen ? will we split reward from MN and storage provider ? this is awesome if it really implemented in Dash.

it is possible that Cryptsy wanted to sucker new users with the following tweet: "BigVern @cryptsy Oct 2 Come enjoy the ZERO fee trading at http://Cryptsy.com !" Right before they start having issues. Kind of sketchy. Hope everyone gets their funds out. Whats wrong with cryptsy, did i missed something A few people are having problems getting their funds out of Cryptsy. It seems like the bigger the transfer request, the more likelihood of delays and difficulties. Read this initial post from Otoh (link below); he's having difficulties with many 10s of thousands of $US worth and he's not getting responded to by Cryptsy's support. It's a worrying situation so care is called for if sending funds to Cryptsy or you already have some there. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg12671376#msg12671376Anyone made succesfull BTC witdraws from Cryptsy last days ? Yes, me. Few posts above yours

I would suggest that part of Dash's price decline is due to people just honestly needing the money for other stuff. Even if you didn't invest more than you could (at the time) afford to lose, circumstances change over the years and sometimes it's necessary to partially cash out and hope you can buy back in later. I have done this and I know several others have as well. Fortunately I've been able to buy back in later, but if you're in a temporary cash crunch, sometimes selling your Dash is all you can do. Anyway, I think that's part of the reason.
Pretty much all alts are going down at the moment as the BTC rally continues. Look at LTC, NMC & PPC, well established cryptos that usually rise along with BTC; well currently they're not maintaining their natural peg or slight increase, they're all dropping too. It's just one of those periods where everyone gets the alt heebeejeebees and start bailing out. Dash is being affected in the same way. Just need to hang on until the sun starts shining again.

It's basically a bloodbath on poloniex, this morning all alts with a significant market cap (e.g. >1 million) suffered from a pretty hefty decline.

What do these liquidity providers do exactly?
People are constantly running the mixer. That's all. Only A couple of weeks ago, Evan made it so that, if you're available for mixing, and you run liquidityprovider=1 in your conf file, you won't mix unless someone needs you to. That is, you won't start mixing sessions, just join them. This way, we don't sit around mixing with each other, and unnecessarily bloat the block chain. But there are at least 6 people running liquidity providers according to the proposal that was approved, and that should give plenty of deviation so that mixes should be very good. Plus there are others who just do it to be helpful. Always do at least 2, better >5 Hmmmm.... Isn't it dangerous to have to rely on only 6 people who are available for mixing all the time? I guess that these people have the logs of the mixing. If they collude, they can know which mixing input is associated with a certain mixing output. They're not necessarily the only people mixing. The fact that mixing sometimes takes quite a long time came up, so there was a DGBB proposal to provide compensation for some trusted members of the community to operate as "liquidity providers". Apparently the next version of Dash will be anonymous by default, and also faster, but it was decided that it would take some time to implement and test the new system, so the incentives for liquidity providers could serve as a temporary solution to speed up the anonymisation process a little. ok, so basically we need the liquidity providers because the mixing in the nodes isn't very efficient? Why not just give every node the possibility to have mixing transactions pass through his node? that would make mixing faster I guess?

So you are saying Evan got > 500000 DASH? that is still quite a lot I mean, that's almost 10%. I already said that I hope DASH can overcome this issue, but it's not looking good at the moment... I guess i'll delay that 800 DASH buy a bit. I want to get a total of 1000 to get my masternode.

Nope, masternodes down about 3, was at about 3270 all week, rose about 8 in the last day or so and is back around 3270 now: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/nodes-dash.htmlEDIT: That's nodes rather than masternodes, dashninja link already covered I guess from a price perspective having those masternodes is beneficial in the sense that its a little more work to sell the locked coins if someone panics.
