There are few pathological trolls, that heavily invested into Monero. Those few individuals day and night post nonsence here. So you have to hide them, if you lurk for a bit, soon you will realize which ones.

The only explanation I have for what is going on is as follows...

Serious, professional traders are ripping at these alt crypto markets, and they are making money. They're doing it because these markets are healthy and behave normally, unlike the fake markets on Wall Street.

There is no other explanation why people are buying Dogecoin.

I didn't see anything like that in any if the photos of the booth.  I can't imagine that being sanctioned by the development team. I would want to see proof of this.  I saw pictures of their spouses in respectable attire only.

It was definitely not official. A community member took it upon himself to get this girl and have her hang out by the booth. It was quickly dealt with by conference staff, and other team members. Dash doesn't need to do these things, our innovation will do the talking.

Aw, come on, one of our community members who lives in the area, who I won't name, brought his friend in who wore the bathing suit.  If you knew him, it's perfectly within his character, LOL.  The conference people did not approve and had her leave.  I don't think it lasted very long at all, and he's had his ears full of scolding off threads, so that's the end of that, and it's not really that big a deal, other than we didn't get a good picture of her   (I'm an old lady, and I'm not offended) They've used pretty girls in bikinis all my life to sell cars, so what the heck is it with everyone getting so damn prude in Miami of all places?  Whatever...!

You are right,  I don't know him. But I'm not likely to invest off the back of something he says or does either. I may formulate opinions based on what Andreas Antonopoulos says however. Which is how in the case I found out about the Bikini by the DASH machine.

Doge is a good buy right now because it has achieved respectability (boring!?). Also, you'll be able to use DOGE on the Ethereum network, and I think it may be rising because of this future utility..

For what it's worth, yes, Tao is about as close to an official information source as it gets in a decentralized project. Not only that, but multiple team members who were at the conference said just the same thing Tao did above: it was not sanctioned by the dev team, and was speedily handled.

If you want a CEO who calls all the shots, invest in PayPal. If you want a decentralized crypto, then you have to accept that sometimes community members can do things that aren't sanctioned by the dev team.

Im one of the oldest members of the DASH community and would say Tao is certainly one of the most credible sources of DASH news from the community.  One must respect though that every member is free to express themselves as they see fit, even if the majority do not agree.  I would put a Masternode on the line and say there is NO WAY that our Dev Team or Foundation would condone that behaviour.  

Whether they did or they didn't perception is key.

Tao is an official source of news for your community. He isn't an official source of news for DASH. As far as I can tell he isn't a foundation member or on the DASH team, of which there are many members. 

If you think I'm attacking Tao I'm not. I enjoy his efforts. People are going to take Andreas Seriously before they take a picture of a Dalmatian with an internet Pseudonym seriously.

What bothers me more is rather than have an official source of news for DASH explain to Andreas calmly that it wasn't DASH sanctioned and ask him to remove his tweet you have members of the community attacking him on his twitter.

How do you think that looks to potential investors, many of which look to Andreas for advice.

Further more Andreas has had good things to say about DASH up until now. Why polarise the people who are effecting positive outcomes.

Not bad rankings for a new website. Well done to the social/pr team for getting content out there.

"Dash" keyword gets 368.000 monthly worldwide searches. At current #5 position maybe that will get 10-40.000 extra visitors to Dash.org per month.

Since many of these new visitors will NEVER have heard of our cryptocurrency; they probably initially wanted to visit the Kardashians Dash Store but clicked us out of curiosity, this gives us a unique opportunity to preach dash to the uninitiated.

So my humble question(s) is:

- Does the current landingpage encourage/motivate non-users to get involved in dash?

- Could we somehow motivate some of these 10-40.000 new monthly website visitors to use dash?

Imagine if we could get 1-5% of these people, to take steps to get their first dash.

How? That's the question!

Maybe we can lead them to a dash faucet where they can be instructed to download a light wallet and receive their first dash.

Or maybe we lead them to the /r/dashpay reddit where new users are promised dash tips via the new dashtipbot. (Our dash reddit could get huge!!!)
