I have 10 masternodes for sale. Anyone want to buy them?

No thanks.  I think Dash is at the end of its run because Bitcoin has already surpassed it in terms of technological development (RBF and CPFP) and enjoys orders of magnitude greater network effects.

By the time in late 2018 when Evolution is ready for production Bitcoin will have segwit, Lightning, and possibly sidechains/mimblewimble/tumblebit/Confidential Transactions.  That leaves exactly zero reason for anyone to use Dash (assuming it hasn't been banned for being a Ponzi scheme, as OneCoin was).

Masternodes are like a hot potato, you don't want to hold them any longer than it takes to find a greater fool who wants to buy them.

Trading Dash is like musical chairs.  You don't want to be holding a bag when the music stops, as the inevitable regulatory crackdown on operating an unlicensed money services business and offering an unregistered/illegal security occurs.

How much does Dash Nation pay you to attack critics of Duffield's instamined scamcoin?

Betting on the failure of GavinCoin was the correct conclusion; please take your butthurt over the failure of XT/Classic/Unlimited back to /r/btc.

You had your chance to trade Dash 1-to-1 for Monero.  Don't make the rest of us suffer your bagholder's remorse by making these petulant, overdefensive posts.

You must be american. There is 5.5 billion people that dont speak English at all in the whole world. Only 1.5 billion do speak it whom only 375 million are native speakers (that means theyr first language) .. you arghh.. Its not like you will be paying out of your allowance.. think before you post something permanent on the internet  Roll Eyes
Or just ignore most of the world and ponder why people dont talk the same way you do.

I really don't like how aggressive communication became widespread on this forum. Must be a defense mechanism induced by the troll activity - nonetheless it does have a negative effect on the quality of the discussion here.

I was talking about ROI. Amanda receives 126 DASH/month based on the proposal. Sure, it will be reduced for the next cycle due to the increased price, but we can just calculate with that.
She is producing a lot of value, creating video materials based on her research in English. English is understood by the vast majority of our target market - it does not have to be someone's native language to be able to understand it. Also, my estimate is that 95% of our target market is in the age range of 16-40, where English is WAY more widely spoken than in case of elder people.
Also, since there are already subtitles for the videos, so if someone doesn't understand English but a subtitle is available in a leangue spoken by that person, assuming they can read (I strongly believe literacy rate is >99% of our target market) the information is available for them.

Another assumption I have is that video recording/editing is way more effort than subtitle translation, and it'd take about 50% of the effort of creating the English version from scratch.
So let's say we created 10 videos instead of one in 10 different languages about the same thing instead of subtitles. Do you think that the INCREASE in the conversion rate / reach would justify the costs over going with subtitles only? Based on my assumptions it would take 5 times the effort for a few percent gain.
I'm not questioning that if it was given for free (no effort, no time, no money, it's just there) it would be great, why not. But since there is effort needed, I doubt that's the optimal way utilize that.

Oh, and as a sidenote - please refrain from making things personal unless really necessary. You are putting yourself in a bad position, especially when your initial assumption you base your logic on is wrong.

I think deep deep down inside, Icey still likes Dash .. likes it enough to still want to short it  Grin
In seriousness though : shorting Dash seems to be getting a risky business lately, specially on Poloniex.

I also think so. First, focus only in English version and then next few years we will expand to other languages when our community would has expanded.

so last night I was watchin/listening to this http://fiatleak.com/

And about 5-6 or so hours ago, it went silent.  I tried refreshing, but that didn't work.  So I decided either the site was not working or else the flow of trade just stopped!

Weird

Then I wake up to today, and prices dropped

According to business insider: http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-price-january-5-2017-2017-1

the Yuan suddenly rose against the dollar...not sure how China did that, but maybe from tightening loans?  I don't know???  So the faucet stopped leaking Smiley

Hummm I wonder what will happen next?  Can China keep the plumbing in tact?  What does this mean for the rest of us?

Goofy stuff continues today. Coinmarketcap did some kind of big instadrop across the board a few hours ago in the time it took me to brew a cup of coffee. Fiatleak is finding no transactions atm.

If you Google "Italy bank" you get only old stories, or at least I do from my present European VPN location. Apparently there was a big bank run in December but somehow the media forgot to mention it. On and on.

It's like watching a glitch in the matrix, but I have no idea what it means. Wild ride though!

About :
With cryptocurrency advocate Mick Mulvaney joining the Trump administration as Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the future of digital currency in the U.S., including for Dash, might be about to change.

Looks like Dash is about to do a little dash forward, with regards to price against BTC.
