I just had an idea! I can understand wanting to mine at Coinmine.Pl, they are apparently very stable, and having so much of the hash, you find more blocks more often (though your payments are smaller) Anyway, if everyone would just leave half of their hash power at Coinmine.pl, and put the other half in another pool ( http://lotterymining.com has been SUPER stable as well) then you can have a steady pouring in of funds, if that's what you l like to see, yet spread your hash around. It won't cost you more, it won't cost you in rewards, it'll all come out the same in the wash. Please consider doing this, if half the community took half their hash to another pool, we'd have things at a much safer level. Thanks

Ive been on p2p since starting mining drkcoin. Payouts for my 13mhs fluctuate between 10-30 coins per day. If the non p2p pools shut down we would not have so much miner jumping movement in difficulty and rewards.

How's that? I don't understand? Oh, I think I understand! Pools are easier to hop into and out of than a P2pool? Or, bots jump in easier during low difficulties?

Going to put a run of these together if there's enough interest. If I get 15 orders I can get these to US residents for $23usd (payable in BTC or DRK, can use Moolah for Escrow), non-us residents we just need to figure out a shipping surcharge. Sizes are up to 4xl If you want in, shoot me a PM or email me at my handle name @ cointrepid.com EDIT: Design updated to include website text I have a suggestion- How about we make it a "collector's item" out of it by having Evan sign them. We can even distribute a press-release that says 100 shirts will be issued. No more, no less. First come; first gets. Payment is ONLY in darkcoin. I expect this will bring people into Darkcoin, and make them very loyal to the brand. p.s. maybe add an 'x11 authenticated stamp' in the rear... Edit: p.s.2 - or maybe write in the rear: "Anonymity…is like a warm blanket" Max, Mission: Impossible

hi all....i don´t wanna be a hater or so, i don´t want to write something about the cpu coin scam in the first days/week... i´m very intrested in the darkcoin features, but when i red about this KGW exploit and the new DGW, so i´m a bit confused and i have a question!
the original kgw code is used without any problems by...
Megacoin 1 + (0.7084 * pow((double(PastBlocksMass)/double(144)), -1.228)) 2.5 * 60 TimeDaySeconds * 0.25 TimeDaySeconds * 7
Anoncoin 1 + (0.7084 * pow((double(PastBlocksMass)/double(144)), -1.228)) 3 * 60 TimeDaySeconds * 0.25 TimeDaySeconds * 7
Vertcoin 1 + (0.7084 * pow((double(PastBlocksMass)/double(144)), -1.228)) 2.5 * 60 TimeDaySeconds * 0.25 TimeDaySeconds * 7
and others....
but darkcoin used this....
Darkcoin 1 + (0.7084 * pow((double(PastBlocksMass)/double(28.2)), -1.228)) 2.5 * 60 TimeDaySeconds * 0.025 TimeDaySeconds * 7
...so was it a KGW problem generally or was it the own KGW interpretation of darkcoin, that made this exploit possible?
sorry for my english greetings nbk

wearing that T-Shirt means being in favour of Silkroad and other shady stuff? Why not justa agree that it shows your pro-darkcoin stance, and leave it at that?

Nobody can track my address to my name. Granted if I wanted to launder money, buy illegal substances etc., I'd use DarkSend

What for exactly? I'm just curios! I like Darkcoin and I'm invested in it For anything you want to use money for. I do not understand what in the concept of anonymous you do not grasp. lets say i want to tranfer some of my 1000 bitcoin or whatever, to my paperwallet, but i do not want people to be able to trace that wallet to me, i could use darkcoin instead, all you will see is i spend 1000 bitcoins, to whatever exchange, but from there the trail goes cold...

Maybe not for now if you haven't done any transfers where your name could be linked to, you always use tor and throw away emails and prepaid wireless connections etc. But for example if you have sent BTC to an exchange that requires your real info, or sometime in the future pay with BTC on paypal or buy stuff by mail order where you give your name/address, then potentially all your financial history could be solved down to the first transaction you ever made. All it really needs is one slip.

Jungian - EXCELLENT answer imho. I like the references you gave VERY much. I think this should be copy/pasted into the darkcoin.io website FAQ
