Bitcoin's block chain is enough for me personally.  Nobody can track my address to my name.

If you think that is enough, then use that. Some people think HTTP is secure enough, others use HTTPS. Some people think having a password like hello123 is enough, others use a more secure password.
Jungian - EXCELLENT answer imho. I like the references you gave VERY much.
I think this should be copy/pasted into the darkcoin.io website FAQ

Also MUST post that DarkSend/DarkCoin does not endorse illegal activity since it won't be accepted by governments, it needs some disclaimer

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

DarkCoin is a brand, its technology is another thing. If you don't post that it does NOT endorse illegal activity, people are going to connect this brand with Silkroad etc. which is not favourable

No. Can I kill people who engage in free trade, as you think something that is illegal is bad, and free trade is illegal in many countries and can even punishable by death?

Just keep it simple…
With its focus on anonymous transactions Darkcoin is a better metaphor for cash than Bitcoin. Since Satoshi's ambition was to create digital cash Darkcoin is an evolutionary improvement over Bitcoin.

Quite simple really.

You don't understand my point

Your point is not hard to grasp, it's just a typical statist cowardly opinion that you should bow to the lawmakers for pragmatic reasons in order not to lose money on your investment.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

In order for people to understand the advancement that Darkcoin aims at bringing to the crypto currency market, it needs to point out its role as a technology and NOT to endorse illegal activities [such as child pornography, selling organs etc that is DONE WITH ANONYMOUS TRANSACTIONS].

This has nothing to do with "Bowing to the lawmakers"

Like Bitcoin was made irrelevant when the common opinion was that it was totally anonymous and only used for drugs? Without Silkroad, bitcoin is far more likely to never have made it to the public eyes.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

Dont you think there's a risk of raising fears simply by pointing that out? Why even mention it? It might appear defensive if we emphasize how we dont condone a, b or c.

Darkcoin is more like electronic cash than Bitcoin - thats it.

If people could stop banging on about using it for dodgy activities that would be a start. Just shup up about your drugs - nobody cares what you do with your money. Thats the point.

Ok, that might be true.

Just frightening to think about  selling and buying humans, organs, drugs etc. with Darkcoin on the internet, not to mention all the scams that will be easily pulled off with Darkcoin.

I was contacted by MintPal, asking if we were interested in adding more markets, trades with other coins. I said sure we would be interested in any or all coins.

The next message asked for money to do it, I told them to nevermind, it was their loss.

They got upset and said they were taking DRK off their exchange.

They really had no volume, not its not a huge loss. Just sux that people are like that.

Ok, it seems maybe there is another account that is impersonating them.

@MintPalExchanqe    vs     @MintPalExchange

Its odd because the firstone actually has more followers than the second, which seems to be the correct one.

I am contacting them directly

Man, there are scammers everywhere, and they come from all sides!  Good you noticed and can tell them!

Whoever it is, is also running fake social media campaigns. They are trying to get people to pay for up voting their coins on mintpal, but mintpal have confirmed that its someone scamming as they only use their site for up-voting.

Humans are scary. Old story.
Darkcoin is cash. What you do wit your cash is up to you.
