I know I already asked this before but I didn't have a chance to investigate further. I am trying to get my old wallet (xcoin) to sync so I can transfer my balance to new DarkCoin wallet
all you *should* have to do is drop your old wallet.dat file into the new Darkcoin wallet's .darkcoin folder (normally hidden in /home file in Ubuntu) or it's the darkcoin folder in /User/yourusername/AppData/Roaming/darkcoin in windows Vista, 7 and 8 *remove the old (newer) wallet.dat file first, don't merge. Just in case.* If that doesn't work, something might be wrong with your old xcoin wallet.dat (which should be completely interchangeable with a darkcoind wallet.dat) Interchangeable? Yes, the wallet.dat is the key of the account. It is all you need to recreate your wallet. Just get a working wallet up and running, then go into the darkcoin folder (...\AppData\Roaming...) Delete the wallet.dat file in there (unless it's important, then save it somewhere else) and put in your old xcoin wallet.dat file. Remember shut down the wallet and do this without the wallet running. Then restart your wallet and your old xcoin/darkcoin should appear. Note: if you used the File > Backup Wallet function, you may have named your wallet.dat something like Xcoin.dat. You will need to rename it wallet.dat if that is the case. Or you can just use ctrl+c ctrl+v the wallet if it's not running Also, never try to backup your wallet.dat file by copying it from the darkcoin folder while the wallet is running. It might be corrupted (but won't show anything) If you want to save while the wallet is running, always use the File>Backup Wallet function.

Yes it was sorted, but I don't have a link to the fix as I didn't need it. Unless someone else has it, you'll have to page back through the last couple hundred pages or so of this thread...

r/DRKcoin Faucet not working? I thought it was empty, sent a coin and asked others to please deposit, and the deposits do not show up. Has it been compromised?

Because aticonfig is a Linux utility which doesn't have it's Windows equivalent. Other than that, the suggested solution wasn't helpful on my Linux based rig anyway (it never had a screensaver anyway). However, lowering the VRAM clock seemed to help but one 290X still slows down even at it's factory default 1250Mhz VRAM clock while it can mine Scrypt (N=[10,11]) coins @ 1475Mhz for days just fine.

Are the deposits showing ok on the block explorer? no I mean the transaction is there, but it says "not yet redeemed". Also, the faucet isn't functioning, it's been saying "It seems the internet goblins are messing with us, please refresh!" since I made my deposit a few hours ago. Maybe it's just stuck, can anyone fix this?

Should be up in 5.

Some things can go smoother with these cards if you attach a display. (I visited a friend of mine, randomly pulled out a dead HDTV motherboard from the trash can and used it's HDMI connectors: 3 monitor EDIDs for free).

I know the price of BTC right now is the major the biggest influence on perceived Darkcoin price, DRK in relation to BTC has stayed solid as hell, but It still hurts my soul to see it low like this. Coins was saying 250$/DRk or something? I think a 10 to 25$ Dark would be amazing already after everything is out of beta and the year ends.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

Oi are you currently online on poloniex? Help me tell the user "troll" that I sent him some DRK. I was banned for saying "The Jews are supporting BTC at 400"

Yeah, this is painful to watch. I'm hoping the beta ends soon and it sounds like it will. Evan said in the beta v6 post that the next step is forking the mainnet and begin paying the masternodes. That's more or less the end of the beta since everyone will be able to DarkSend.
