so http://darkcoin.io/masternodes.txt shows 29 masternodes
and http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html shows 75

my machines (just updated) show 48 and 55 masternodes. My activated masternode did not show up in any of those list, so i stopped it now. Whats going on?

I just set mine up today and was showing 48 Masternodes myself included.  I have stopped mine about 10 minutes ago.  Need to figure out the cold storage method using Windows wallet  Sad

ok, please tell us if that worked with windows wallet.

I also activated my masternode and it showed up in my remote and local masternode list. But not in chaeplins and others (waited 24 hours)... i will wait till friday and test it again. Everything worked great for me before the update

I setup today using the newest versions.  My masternode showed up in the local list and on Chaeplins site.

XBT dropped at the same time DRK went up.

I think DRK whale traders are playing arbitrage with Bitcoin <> Darkcoin.

I guess we have to get used to playing in the major leagues  Grin

Just tweeted about it, this is a damn fine article for once. The author actually understands Darkcoin, the way it works, masternodes. Amazing and good job to the author.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

and my masternode count is fluctuating over time (local machine):

user@ubuntu:~$ darkcoind masternode list| grep ':\ 1' | sort -n | uniq | wc -l
47
(40 minutes later)
user@ubuntu:~$ darkcoind masternode list| grep ':\ 1' | sort -n | uniq | wc -l
9

and the remote machine is seeing:
root@nodebit3:~/.darkcoin# darkcoind masternode list | grep ':\ 1' | sort -n | uniq | wc -l
27

edit, i see there is another update 10.8.6, with changelog saying: "we should start to see network consensus." Smiley

10.8.6 works much better for me

What makes you think BTC-e would add DRK. I would be great but don see this. They haven´t changed their coins since months.
Even DOGE wasn´t added.

Many people here talk about "expert traders" "chart researchers", some of them call new traders to others to hide their low profile. But the "professional traders" (good or bad) need to fill reports.

One reason for all this pumps and bumps are the end of an important quarter (Q2). Big Investors doesn't stay all day reading forums and analyzing charts, they just read the report and check the results. (they have many other things to do, including investments in other sectors)

We, the real hard workers do this job every day. Most of the workers need to fill a report every quarter. They need a good chart with a good BTC price. Darkcoin will not be important (yet) on this quarter.

Darkcoin will go down hard for some days, but be careful with your decisions about sell/buy/hold.
