And the US government doesn't want to kill bitcoin they want to tax it. If they wanted to kill it then it would be dead.

Why is Litecoin acting like a yo-yo? Either a pumper tried to relaunch the buy and seeing there were no reaction decided to sell, or a pumper tried to relaunch interest in the coin and got burned

I don't know, but reading the bizarre tortured doubleunthink of all the LTC bagholders in the BTC-e trollbox makes me giggle.

Watch other trade press follow suit. Coindesk as already retweeted the Wired article.
Let that sink in for a moment. Coindesk on twitter...saying they are going to do something on Darkcoin. Based on past performances, probably a hatchet job. I had a fantastic conversation with Stan from Coindesk yesterday. It was about 25 minutes and I gave him a great overview of DarkSend and the masternode system. The article will be great for darkcoin. Looks like coindesk have done the right thing and fixed that article.Pioneered by darkcoin, X11 has slowly gained traction in terms of new coin implementation. Darkcoin, along with Hirocoin and québecoin, are perhaps the most notable examples of X11 coins.

And governments are truly powerless against this new technology.
I'm not sure that is true. Does that make me a troll? Of course it does! As long as the price of DRK is generally going up nothing negative can be said about the coin without people freaking out. Also I think DRK is overdue for a correction so I'm spreading FUD too. I also forgot to add that I'm just mad that I didn't get in earlier which is why I'm spreading this FUD. Makes perfect sense. Until you or someone else comes up with a credible potential spanner in the works, I'm pretty much doing the opposite of freaking out. I have yet to hear one such sensible argument. The NSA and the foreign equivalents have the internet backbones and routers thoroughly tapped with backdoor chips. The US Gov could for example as part of the fake War on Terror (elevated by another manufactured 9/11 perhaps) have an excuse that the sheeple would buy for doing the same with all consumer level internet connectivity devices (backdoor chips in all home broadband routers etc.). Can't have anonymous money transfers with all the fake western backed terrorists roaming the planet now can we? They could filter all protocols they don't like including Cryptocurrencies/VPN/Tor/I2P etc. Not a too unlikely a scenario considering that US and other western citizens have been stripped of fundamental rights such as habeus corpus due to the fake war on on terror: See Bills: Patriot Act 1/2 + NDAA. Besides a dystopian situation such as the one I described there is nothing that can stop the advancement of anon cryptos. This coin is going to unseat world governments I tell you! LOL

Masternodes, please restart!
I've noticed some nodes popping in and out of the masternode lists. I'd like all of the masternodes to follow these instructions to see if the problem gets fixed
1.) stop the daemon 2.) update to 10.8.6 if you haven't 3.) add "maxconnections=200" to your configuration 4.) wait ten minutes (it MUST be ten minutes! This will allow the masternode election entry to propagate) 5.) start the daemon and turn on the masternode
Just restarted one of my masternodes. I noted all has about 40 odd connections before the restart. I waited a good 30 - 40 mins. But after I restarted my first node, I noticed that my second node, which had been off for 30+ mins was still listed... Maybe we need to wait longer than that?

That is pretty cool of them. I am still cracking up about BBC discussing Darkcoin hard fork. Who cares about the price, that is the big highlight of the day.
