Is x11 FPGA came out?

Net hash is going up so much.

no, gpus got new miner
hashrate wet 50% up with this new miner.

people was called fud and scam when they said there is secret faster miner, now it is for everyone
see who tells the lies?

my guess: price will drop same 50% to 0.008 in 2 days

download your faster miner, dont miss hashtrain:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0

Well, that one is everyone using for like 2 weeks already Smiley
pushing my 280x at 3.2 MHs (cant go higher that 1100/1500)

thread is 4 days old.. github code 5 days old..

i got 3.6mhs at 1150mhz, earlier miner 2.2mhs=over 50%
no it is 8 days old...
this guy was first but asked 2% fee (wich was bypassed easely)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=616786.msg6824642#msg6824642

then there was reversed engeniering and code implemented in a non 2% fee version

that 2% miner did not really ever work this fast, i got only 2.6mhs out of it and there was no source then

where can i get this NON 2% free version???

Hey, can someone here fill me in on X11. Obv, its all fanboys on their own thread. I'm looking for an honest review; not trashing x11, or praising DRK (which I hold).

My view is this: it took DRK forever to get to where they are in 2 weeks; and they have 1.5X as many coins, mined very quickly. Someone is making millions.

What I'm most unqualified to analyze is their protocol vs. their claims. Can any tech person here give an unbiased review? Can they do what they claim they can do? Is this question even answerable? Its really expensive right now. I flipped some from 125K to 225K average in/out, assuming a DRK fall would lead to an x11 rush. What reading I did do seemed mixed. Troll-like claims of vaporware, scam, instamine a'la DRK; legit concerns about whether or not they can do what they say they're going to do, and the standard X11 will likely be worth $50 by the months end, etc. Looking for facts.

Question 2: whats the status on DRK right now? Approx, when will masternodes be running?

I hard RC3 for late june. Is this correct?

Looking for solid facts; INFORMED speculation.

Much appreciated.

The answer is in the name of the coin - x11.

Darkcoin invented x11 algo. Everyone is copying it. The people behind x11 coin are taking a well known name, adding claims they can copy Darkcoin's mixing system (still being developed with RC3 due on June 14), and making money while they can.

Quote from: eduffield
As most of your are aware, there was a critical problem with the masternode payments system yesterday that caused the network to fork into many smaller networks and caused a great destabilization. This was either due to an intentional attack on the network or an issue with the masternode payments system, in either case we have a solution for masternode payments that will be safe for the network in the future.

Once we learned the exchanges were on different forks, it was too late to do a proper fork in the future so we opted to fork immediately. The network updated rather quickly and stability was restored within a few hours.

Prognosis of the network

At this time the network is healthy and has been on the same chain since the event. We’ve reached out to every pool and exchange and no funds were lost during the event.

No More Forks

Beyond this point we will not need to hard fork the network to implement the rest of DarkSend features. This is an example of why hard forks are dangerous and we want to avoid them in the future.

Masternode Payments

We’ve wanted to increase masternode payments to 20% for a few weeks now, but have not been able to since the code was already going through the testing and launch stages. This will give us an opportunity to add greater incentive to secure the network and run masternodes.

Before moving onto RC3, the next version of Darkcoin will now include the masternode payment system (with 20% payouts). The method we’re going to use for masternode payments is not critical and can’t cause a hard fork so it should be rather quick to implement, scheduled for June 14th.

Release Candidate 3

DarkSend RC3 will include a greatly improved anonymity model and support for multiple “tickets” per masternode.

After completing masternode payments, over the next few weeks I’m going to be working with the core darkcoin team to establish a full fledged development team to help with Darkcoin and DarkSend. This should allow us to move at a similar pace of development with much greater quality. The next version of DarkSend is scheduled to be released at the end of June.

Know any great developers that want to help with Darkcoin? Please have them reach out to us.

As for my communication? Lately I've just had my nose to the grindstone, coding all of the time. I intend to be much more involved with the community in the future. This will include getting a team of software developers and managing the vision of the project. I think my time might be better spent in the future doing interviews, speaking at conferences and being Darkcoin's figurehead.

Can't we pay to the masternodes by implementing a simple PoS function - paying for exact 1000DRK (nevermind if they have 1000 or 1100 or 2100 etc.)?

Hi All,

I have downloaded cpu miner to mine darkcoin, but every time i setup and run the batch file, i get  a whole load of crap running up my screen, basically telling me that my shares were not accepted Sad.

This is the configuration of my batch file, can someone please confirm that this is fine?

minerd.exe --url=stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3355 --userpass=xxxx.worker3:x

Thanks for any assistance provided Smiley

Should look something like this:

Code:
minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://pool:port -u username.worker -p password

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the reply, but this does not work Sad . Any other suggestions?

So why 20% fees for masternode payments? This essentially will create twice as many nodes and create a much higher cost to spy on the network. It also creates a larger feedback loop for the price (because as darkcoin is taken out of the supply, it drives the price up), which is good for all of the investors and security of DarkSend. Miners will get less coin, but it's been proven time and time again that when you decrease the coins generated the price will just go up to meet the cost of mining.

Avoid multiple tickets for masternodes. It will reduce number of nodes making the system less resilient.

+1

Or set a limit to something like 5k DRK maximum, but in any case, the best thing to do is to avoid this completely. And this is coming from someone who will be setting up over 50 MNs, yet I think it's best to limit MNs to 1k DRK - 1 ticket.

I spent some time yesterday trying to find further information on XC that isn't just claims. Either there's hardly any out there or I didn't manage to find it. Seems to me that it's nothing but thin air right now.
